    Overall, this is a fine saxophone, especially when one considers it is a student horn. The color is just gorgeous! They included a number of useful items, but I feel they would have done well to include some cork grease. Good thing there’s a music store nearby! I imagine I’ll be replacing the mouthpiece with a higher quality one soon, but in general, this so far has been a good value for the price.

    Good beginner sax! For the money it is well worth it; if you decide to continue playing you can upgrade but why spend more than you have to in the beginning! I order the purple because I lived the look - it did not disappoint! Recommend upgrading mouthpiece to a Yamaha 4c and definitely get Ricco or Vandoren Reeds (I use 2.5). The kit doesn’t come with cork grease so add that to your order. And a softer neck strap will encourage longer practice sessions - the one that comes with the sax was not comfortable after about 15 minutes of play. Add a few more dollars for a cleaning kit and you have everything you need - the rest is all you! ????

    It is a beautiful instrument and it was very thoughtfully packaged for shipment, with little pads to protect all the keys. I have been playing it for about 6 weeks as a beginner and I am completely satisfied. I was able to get started at a very low price point and I do not see any issues with the quality of the instrument. Also it came with a saxophone stand and a music stand. So everything you need to get started.

    This is a classy looking sax. (Black and Gold) It has a bright sound and all the movement seems tight and smooth. The case is soft sided but sturdy and has backpack straps in addition to standard top and side handles.
