Have produced several outstanding works from its foundation program. As Photoshop programs, it is complicated, complex and full of fine features which take many hours, days or weeks to learn completely. I recommend it as this Ultimate program matches the YouTube PowerDirector University tutorials. Be patient. Printing out he manual on-line is helpful but online tutorials are better. Highly recommend the Ultimate PowerDirector.

It's a powerfull video editor with a Lot of features, however the learning curve is easy and you can star editing yours videos from day one. Then when you keep using it you can learn by yourself more an more tricks that add "flavor" to your editings.

I have been a user of CyberLink power director for a bit, departing form Adobe PS after they fraudulently deactivated my personal Adobe-purchased PS cs6 in order to force a paid-subscription. As for this product, if you're like me, and want to actually OWN what you purchase, be sure to get the DISK version because CL ONLY allows for a digital download for 12 months and I believe that may have now changed to 30 days! You must be sure to create an account if you do opt for the digital copy because in my experience with CL, I was able to contact customer support when I upgraded to a new system and needed to reinstall powerdirector. I opted to just purchase the latest sortware with the disk, so there's NO HASSLE of a reinstall!

After using a product like DaVinci resolve, this is just very underwhelming in terms of video editing.

This software is complex and in my opinion, only users with advanced editing talent and experience should attempt to use it. The Help documentation is useless to me because it does not match the software. Personally, I will probably request a refund.
