5.0 out of 5 stars Appreciate the simplicity and power

Long battery life, keeps up with my steps, comes with a great app, and glad I went with this watch. I slightly regret not getting to the unit with GPS, but I knew it was not a feature on this watch when I got it, so not a knock against it. Very happy and the features it came with are great. Pleased!

5.0 out of 5 stars This watch DOES come with a a charging cord.

What I didn't like, was after reading the description as well as the tech specs and the "what's in the box," I ended up ordering a separate charging cord. Even when the watch came nowhere on the box did it say it included a charging cord, but there is one in the box. So, now that I bought something I didn't need, I am going to have to return it at Amazon's expense.
I like the watch very much, but the purchase experience was not pleasant for me.

4.0 out of 5 stars A tracker that wants to be a smart device. Hint, it's a great tracker.
Reviewed in the United States on April 15, 2024
Summary - The Fitbit Inspire 3 is a very good fitness tracker. It counts steps, monitors heartrate and is even a sleep tracker. It has pretentions of being a smart device but don't be fooled. If you use this as a simple tracker that links to a smartphone to download results you'll be very happy with it. It's from a well known brand, has a decent battery life and good accuracy. If you want a smart device then buy an Apple Watch as the Inspire 3 won't do that properly and you won't be happy. I like it but know it is limited and I'm happy with that.

Pros - Battery life. This will depend upon how you use the device. I have turned off all of the notifications and other stuff. I link the device to my phone once or twice a day for a few minutes and I don't compulsively check the screen. In this minimalist fashion I do manage 10 or 11 days between re-charges. That's very good for such a small device and I don't have to remember to recharge it every night so I'm happy too.
Accuracy - It's pretty good. Steps correlate with other devices as does heart rate. Sleep tracking is reasonable and apart from a well documented tendency to confuse deep sleep with light sleep it is consistent. These devices are only indicators and not proper medical devices. If you have sleep problems then a proper sleep polysomnography is what you need. But this is good enough. I've never been able to tell what the sleep score properly correlates too though. There are days when I can have a great sleep score and feel tired by 10:00am. it's just a number not a way of life.

The indifferent - The screen is small and the choice of displays isn't very good. I found one that works for me and I see no reason to change it. The screen is bright but very small. Another reason not to think this is a replacement for something like an apple watch.
Fit - the Inspire 3 comes with two soft, silicone straps. It is comfortable to wear. Just be advised that the device needs to be tight to the wrist to get proper readings. It can slip to a loose position and not be able to measure anything. This means that you'll get maybe 9 out of 10 nights of sleep records then a junk one. And, if you're lifting weights in a gym it will be useless for heart rate monitoring in those conditions. Otherwise it's fine.

The Bad - Only to a phone? My old fitbit used to link to my desktop where I could use a large display to see the data. New ones like the Inspire 3 only link to phones. This is a problem with getting older but why do I have to look at a tiny screen (my phone)? Guess fitbit couldn't be bothered to maintain the desktop software.
Fitbit Premium - aka the "con". So fitbit want to charge you a monthly fee for premium features. How dumb do they think I am? I don't see any benefit to this and certainly not for a "mere" $9.99. Don't fall for this. The Inspire 3 is a relatively inexpensive device from a well known brand. it doesn't need the extras premium can give and you don't need to give Fitbit the money. It's just another wasted subscription draining your wallet.

Conclusions - There is a lot to like about the Inspire 3 if you have the right mindset. it's well made, comfortable to wear, reasonably accurate and with good battery life. It is a good tracker. It's not a substitute for a proper smart watch even though Fitbit want you to think it is. If you're happy to let it be a tracker with limited contact with a phone it will meet your needs. And meet them well. As a tracker it's highly recommended. As a smart device with a premium subscription it's a joke. Recommended with use case caveats.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Watch!
Reviewed in the United States on May 27, 2024
I picked this watch as the battery life is around 7-10 days, it's slim and with small wrists I didn't want a bulky watch, it comes with 6 months free of fitbit pro which tracks steps, sleep patters, and more. I thought I would mainly use the steps tracking, but have learned so much from the sleep patterns. It gives me a daily readiness score which typically lines up with how I feel. It has helped me understand my sleep and fitness patterns and habits. I often forget I am wearing it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great watch!

I have been using this watch for several months and love it. The app is easy to use and the access to all of the information is easy to find. The only compliant that I have is the number of steps don't match the distance (miles) that it calculates. I have checked my stride length and it is accurate. No issues with the watch at all and I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little device

Clear screen and easy to navigate. Fits well and lots of holes for what seems to be most wrist sizes. Maybe not for huge wrists, but I’m little, so I couldn’t say. The purple looks cute. Tracks my BPM, steps, and workouts well. I mostly got this for sleep tracking and it’s phenomenal for that.
I did try a “cheap” smart watch to try and save money and it was pointless for sleep tracking. Should have gone with FitBit from the beginning, but you live and learn.

Overall, I love my FitBit. I’ll never try another fitness watch again.

I bought a while ago Fitbit lux and returned it since I noticed having headache and bothered me. I ended up returning it. I decided to give a try again now and love Fitbit Inspire! It’s slim, lightweight, and no headache. I even forget that I’m wearing it. I also got a different bracelet to make it dressy. It counts my steps and keeps me motivated. With sleep track it’s super interesting to learn the sleeping patterns. Overall I’m very happy and recommend it!
