    I've had these lights for a few years from a previous order. Do as they should but now they've stopped working and I've order another pack. Of course the instructions are to turn the lights on so as to receive the solar charge... No problem, except how to know if they're off or on. They have a push button instead of toggle.... On? Off? Otherwise a 5 because they're super cute. I use them on a bottle pole under the bottles.

    Yes, you read that right! My little rescue pony was scared of the dark. I got these to help her see just a little better at night. They aren't bright enough to read by. But, definitely bright enough to see your feet in front of you. Think, one single candle in a bedroom. The strings are nice and long. Although they have a couple of light pattern modes, I dont use those features since I use them as a light source instead of decoration. But, the option is there. I think they stay on pretty much all night. I've gone to the barn at first light and they've been on from the night before. Very happy with them so far.

    I recently moved into an older home with no electrical plug outside! I was super bummed about not having xmas lights until I found these! They are amazing! Especially for solar lights! They are super easy to install and come on consistently at nightfall. I am super happy with this purchase. I will be buying more.

    I purchased the four-pack of fairy lights in warm white, and installed all four along the wrought-iron fence on the front of my property. To achieve this look, I divided the fence into four panels, and wove the strings along the top, with each panel getting about three full passes of a string. They were much brighter than I anticipated, which is a good thing. (However, I have a feeling these arrived pre-charged, because I installed them around 2 p.m. on a cloudy day, and it gets dark by about 5:30 in December; this video was taken around 6:30. ) When I awoke at 6 a.m. the next morning, three of the light panels were still working, even if considerably dimmer. So, if they get a full charge, the longevity is great. I will update once I see how they work given the short amount of sunlight during the winter.

    One thing I did not like about installation was the lack instructions regarding setting the lighting modes. There are eight to choose from, according to the box, which is the only reference. There was no instruction as to the order of the modes/number of button clicks. Since some modes look similar, it was difficult to get four different strings synced. This was a minor hassle, but still, a sentence or two could have made a big difference.

    UPDATE: One star deducted. After using these a few days, which were cloudy and typically short since it is winter, brightness and longevity were severely impaired. The lights were at about a third to half the brightness (compared to the fully charged from the factory) and longevity was just a few hours. Also, one string is having issues staying lighted, no matter what I do. I know the weather does affect the performance, but the product should be predictable.

    UPDATE 2: I attempted to contact the seller about the faulty string using the email address provided in several spots on their website store, but received "address does not exist" bouncebacks.

    I ordered a lot of lights & spent a lot of time stringing them around my fences on 3 sides of my house and the front stairs. A couple strings only lasted a couple days because squirrels chewed through the wires. I decided it was too much work to redo the whole yard again. The ones on the front stairs lasted 2 years so they are inexpensive & easy enough to install again. They look nice during the holidays but I left them up all year for the 2 years I had them up. I got a lot of use out of them for the price & they made the house look nice. Basically no maintenance since they charged themselves with the small solar panels. I liked them enough to replace them..

    Love the look of the lights when twinkling! I got 2 -2 packs. As I placed the lights, 2 of the strings would go out like there was a loose wire. The first night they worked. Then I ordered more. The second night half of the lights didn’t work at all. Now I regret ordering more. I will probably return all of them because I want the same presentation on each side of my front entry door for the holiday. I’m bummed because they are pretty when they work. I can’t afford the quality issues.
