5.0 out of 5 stars Better if you have an old PC still running 98 or xp

My son loves the game. It's just as I remembered it. Would not run on my PC with Windows 10, but I did not try running compatibility mode so it might of worked if I tried. Luckily I had a couple old towers running 98 and xp so I didn't take the time to test compatibility mode. You can get an old tower at a thrift store for 25.00 so don't let that discourage you. Great game, nostalgia overload.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love Putt-Putts Software!

This software is a great learning tool; Only Hitch is you must have an older operating system XP or earlier in order to use some and in a couple cases works best on WIN98... If you have an older operating system for kid use, Putt-Putts is one of the Best.

The game came in great condition at all, but it's so old it doesn't work on my gfs computer, and it runs on mine but without any sound.

4.0 out of 5 stars I think it's funny how people write reviews from todays perspective
Reviewed in the United States on April 11, 2015
I think it's funny how people write reviews from todays perspective. With many modern games and modern equipment, its no surprise when this game purchased today no longer functions properly on our computers or measures up to the standards we have with the technology and graphics we enjoy.

However, I remember playing this as a kid. It was one of my favorite games, along with Spectre and all of those classics. Finding this really brought me back to those "typing lessons" with huge Apple computers the size of a filing cabinet. This game, if you have something to run it on, is great for kids and has a good, honest story line with lots of interactive features.
