Amazingly lightweight, battery lasts longer than needed (nice that 2 batteries are included), the charger is ultra low profile which is very cool, great edger feature which works well. Have not had to change string yet, so we'll see what that brings. Good value, easy assembly, adjustable for comfort and seemd to be built well and solid.

Great for smaller jobs

I lived tucked on a mountain in a cove so I don't really have a 'yard' but lots of trees and rock and vegetation that I leave wild. However, on the sides of my driveway, in my driveway that's not paved, and a couple of other places, I have to clean it up a little a few times a year in the spring and summer or it becomes a bit of a problem.

This battery operated Worx trimmer does the job efficiently, easily, and quickly.

I already had a 20v Worx battery so I only needed the unit. I worried the 20v wouldn't be enough, but it's plenty.

This thing chewed through growth pretty impressively. Don't forget your protective eyewear--I did at first and something splatted in my eye to remind me.

The battery life is decent - I finished what I needed to do before the battery went dead but if I had two batteries, I'd be able to switch them out and do a little more as there were a couple of places I missed. That written, I did have a lot to do as our spring growth has been huge this year. Keeping up with those areas going forward, the one battery will be plenty to do the job.

Easy to use. Lightweight. Price is reasonable. The only thing to 'put together' is the hood thing and all you need to do is take out the little screw, push in the hood, and then screw back in the screw - it took a minute. The string spool was already in place. Likely I'd re-string it so I won't have plastic going in the landfill.

I wash mine off after use as it can have a lot of chewed up vegetation stuck to it. That will extend its life. Also, don't leave the battery plugged in constantly as that will shorten battery life. Once it's charged, unplug it.

I like Worx, and I really like the battery share component.

We got tired of dealing with a gas trimmer/edger that refused to start on a regular basis so decided to try this inexpensive trimmer. We are super happy with it so far. It’s easy to switch between edging and trimming and easy to swap out the line spool. We have a corner lot with sidewalks and grass between the sidewalk and street (so LOTS of edging) and can pretty much get the entire yard (all edging sidewalk/street and trimming around house and fence) with the use of both batteries. Another great thing is the weight of this trimmer - it’s a lot lighter than our old gas trimmer. The only negatives are it takes around 5 hours to charge a battery and secondly, the wheels for the edger seem like they could be a little bigger to keep the edger from easily wobbling. With few very minor negatives aside, we’d definitely recommend this trimmer for grass trimming and edging.

Very lightweight and easy to use. The battery lasts for a one time use in our yard, which is a corner city lot.
This is the second Worx trimmer that we have purchased. The first one lasted a long time.

I love this little weedeater/trimmer! I used to have a heavier duty gas-powered one that stopped working but I hated using it because it was so loud, unwieldy, and just a pain to use. This one is actually sort of fun to use, and is so easy.
I love that it's controlled with a couple simple buttons, so you can stop and start easily, which also helps to save on battery and I don't feel like I'm going to accidentally snag myself. I have some very steep areas in my backyard that aren't mow-able so I can keep it and all the other edges/hard to reach areas neat with this little thing. I can usually get 2-3 solid uses out of one battery before needing to switch out/rechange (that's going around the perimeter of both back and front yards each time, as well as a few other more extensive spots). It's not heavy duty and gets bogged down easily in areas that are wooded with thicker brush, but for simple yard work, it's great. And lightweight enough that you can knock things out before your arms are too tired.

I went back and forth on which battery operated weed eater to get. I wanted to be sure I got one that worked and didn't waste my money. I watched videos and read reviews. So I chose this worxs battery operated weed eater. I'm so glad I did! It was so easy for me to put together, I'm 64 but was able to put this together quickly! I put the battery in and saw that it was charged and went out to test it out. It worked great and then stopped, it worked great and then stopped. I thought oh no. But I went in and fully charged the battery, which takes a long time so don't give up. You need to wait until you have a solid green light. Once I did that it was powerful and did not stop. So while using it I was charging the second battery that comes with it. No I'm good to go. I'm so pleased with my choice. It cuts through the grass and weeds powerfully. It's light so it doesn't wear me out. I'm glad I chose this weed eater and the cost was extremely reasonable.
