    The CanaKit Raspberry Pi 5 starter kit is a great way to get into Pis. It's a complete basic kit. Add a keyboard, mouse, and monitor and you have a complete computer. The kit even includes the HDMI monitor cables. It supports Wifi 5G so you connect to your home wifi immediately. And it also supports wired Ethernet too. It's significantly faster than the Pi 4 making it a joy to use! The kit assembles quickly and easily, and the fan is nice and quiet.

    Like I said, this product just works. You follow the instruction video to assemble the pieces. Even if you're doing this for the first time, the instructions are easy to follow and all the pieces fit together perfectly (unlike Ikea furniture). I had this up and running within a few minutes. A few extra minutes of configuration to fit my needs and I was back up to full speed.

    I like the quality of the CanaKits for setting up a Raspberry Pi. All the parts are good quality and generally over spec'd to make sure you don't have any problems. If you take the time, you might be able to put together the parts for less, but you will probably spend more time than you saved. I used this setup for a home automation setup. Quick and easy and all the pieces were there to get the base install running in a couple minutes. Putting the kit together is easy and you can watch the video to follow along instead of interpreting the written directions. For almost any use the kit will meet your needs. I waffle on whether the value could be a little better, but it's probably a time saver.

    Didn't need anything else than what was in kit to get a pi hole running. Nice case, easy to setup. Big SD card. No micro usb connection on pi 5 is nice and the micro hdmi (2 cables!) that came with was plenty long enough to reach back of tv. good stuff.
