Great price, great product!

Can’t lie, the price of this modem router combo is what appealed to me. And when I confirmed that it’s compatible with my plan, I knew I had to get it! It’s only been a few weeks, but so far zero issues with connectivity (hopefully I don’t jinx it). Setting it up was a breeze (or so it seemed when I was watching my husband do it haha). Will update my review if there are any issues in the next month or so!

Super Easy Setup!

Works great! Range is awesome. Had it set up and connected to all of my devices within 10 minutes!
Only time will tell if it holds up.
My last Amazon refurbished router/modem lasted 6 years and was still going when I unplugged it today. Only replaced it b/c Cox has been on me to do so and it maybe was beginning to become too slow...sometimes.
Anyway, so far so good.
Highly recommend.

I had my cable guy install this, only because the person moving out was a cable guy and there was some high tech stuff I couldn't do. It took the professional minutes I watched it was easy and it hooked up to my devices well, I did have to reset / factory all my devices and sign into the new network - thank God for YouTube!

Upgraded my old wireless router and am amazed at how much speed this one has. It took me a few attempts to activate, even with QR code but a great value and totally worth it. No lag with streaming on multiple television, gaming, computers and cell phones at the same time.

What's Not To Like?

C7000v2. This doesn't look like a renewed unit. Looks like new, even though the packaging says "renewed". It came directly from Netgear in what appears to be very well designed packaging - like OEM bulk packaging. Quick, easy install with Spectrum. Bought for modem/router wired functionality - not wifi. I have a separate TP-Link AP for wifi. I replaced a C3000 unit with bad wifi. There is no provision in the C7000 or C3000 setup software to adjust wifi power output, and I suspect it just runs max power all the time. This is probably what eventually causes premature wifi issues with these units. Better to have a separate AP. This is just day 1, so I will update with any new info.

Router is fine, customer service is a scam!

I feel like I was being scammed by their support line. Long story short... router stopped working after I switched out cables... no internet. Called support. "We'll do a hardware check, then if that doesn't do it, we'll troubleshoot and get you working".
Cables good? Yes. Water damage? No. Stored? No.... hardware check complete.

Now technical support. "For $169.00 we'll..." This is when I hung up. All I had to do was sign into the admin site and change my password. Fixed!

This is thievery, you know very well what the issue was but wanted $169 to tell me. It's working now, no thanks to them, but I'll never buy another Netgear product again.

First time getting a Wi-Fi router but it seems like I made a good choice. I've had it for about a week. It's working well with no lapses in connection so far.

The app is functional and allows you to change the name and password pretty easily from your phone.

I ran a speed test right next to it. it was fast. I think around 330 mps download but upload was around 20 mps for the 5G connection. It's still considered fast at that.. though I paid for 500 mps from my ISP.

Will look into that and update my review accordingly. -4/7/24
