I like this light, let me start off by saying that. I had to return a different light from a different seller for an absolutely garbage description. Description was basically, "this is a light" with no description.... Anyways, this light works fantastically on my daughters 2.5 gallon fish tank. I purchased a little glass fish tank lid that sits flush on the tank and this light sits up on top of the tank with its' little extendable leg things. The color and brightness options are easy to figure out and control.

A very reasonably priced, quality full spectrum LED. Dimmer function works well. Timer is kinda of cumbersome but I use a smart plug anyway & probably would anyway unless the light itself was "smart" enabled. I use the on my 20 gal tank that's 24 inches wide & it works perfectly for my purpose, light, plants & fish. I'd buy again & recommend with no reservations.

It’s a pretty good light. The timer setting works well and the light is very bright, but comes with multiple light settings that allow you to dim it. You can call me petty if you’d like, but here’s why I took a star away… If you’re going to have a great aquarium product, it (the brand) needs to keep in mind the needs of an aquarium. What do I mean by that? Timer setting options are 6 hrs, 10hrs, 12hrs… This is just dumb IMO and a simple mistake made the product less valuable. Any PLANTED tank should really have no more than 8 hours of light, or longer but much less intense. 7 hrs of light is probably perfect. But under no circumstances does anyone need a light for 12 hours. Unless you’re a beginner and just like looking at the tank for that long. It’s too much light. The 12 hr setting could easily be changed to 8, then having 6, 8, 10 options. This would be absolutely perfect. For my tanks, I feel that 6 hrs isn’t enough and 10 is too much and I start to get algae. So I’m basically in a position where the timer feature is useless to me because I need an option that isn’t provided (even though it should be)…

Take it from someone who may not be an expect on the matter, but sure has put in hours and hours of research. 12 hours is completely unnecessary for this product, and if it were changed to 8 hours, this product would be 5 stars hands down, especially given the price point.

I understand this is a petty nag.. But at the same time it was RIGHT there for them. A little bit of research would have told them that (almost) no tank needs 12 hours of light and 8 hours would be more appropriate of a setting…

Bright, slime, sturdy and user friendly

I purchase this for my 5 gallon aquarium. Lighting is bright, the metal supports are strong and sturdy. The adjustment controls attached to the cord itself makes it practical so that a separate remote as some lights have doesn't get lost.

I saw a lot of reviews stating it only worked for about a month and went out that wasn’t the case for mine it’s been about 5 months and mine still works good I only turn mine on at night and keep it on for 12hrs and off for 12hrs

The spectrum of this light is great. The timer is easy to set and works accurately. The extenders fits perfectly. The fish love it. The live aquatic plants love it. I recommend it and would buy it again.

I love this light so much! So many different settings that's it's easy to find what works for you. I have an Oscar, and they prefer low lighting. I love how you can choose the intensity of the blue and white lights to the time of day. I like having low light at night so he can sleep, so the blue light is perfect for that, and mixing the white and blue make it perfect to appreciate his beauty during the day without making him anxious. Great product!!

This light is has great lighting with the blues, reds, green, and pink LEDs. In the top left image that was my basic led that came with my fish tank and the one on the right is the light plant led light. You might not be able to tell a drastic difference on the images but wow the lighting is crazy. The light makes my plants pop more as well as my fish tank in general. It has a lot of options you can do such as brightness lvl, color changing mode, blue light for the night, and a schedule timer 6hr 10hr 12hr. I currently have mine at 10hr and the best thing is is that it'll turn on and off by itself as long as there is no power outage then you have to set the timer again.
