    Ordered this to start making Youtube videos and stream on Twitch occasionally. When I got the microphone I downloaded the Wave Link application on my computer and that's what separates this mic from the other USB mics on the market. I did a lot of research before ordering this mic and Razer makes the only other mic with a program similar to wave link, but it was known for being more buggy.

    What is wave link? Well, it's a free Elgato application you can download from their website where you can link all of your applications and games on your pc. You can add different filters where you can customize the sounds as well as edit the volume of each individual application. For example while streaming I can control how loud each application (spotify, video game and my voice) is in relation to each other. Not only for the people watching the stream but also I can separately adjust the sound I am hearing in my headphones. An example where this would come up is if I want to hear only my game but the stream chat would like to hear Spotify I can turn the Spotify off in my headphones while leaving it on for the viewers.

    Now for the microphone itself, it feels high quality for sure. The tap to mute works flawlessly and is amazing to have if you plan on streaming or even just using it to chat. When the mic is muted it illuminates a red circle around the adjustable knob on the front. All in all between the features on the mic and the wave link you will be able to make this mic sound really good with a lot of perks other mics do not come with.

    My downsides for the mic are things I have for many other mics as well. The original stand is too close to the table and doesn't have a shock mount so you have to be careful not to tap the table too hard or type too hard as you will hear the vibrations. I also would like some kind of pop filter either the foam cover or screen that goes in front of the mic. Elgato also sells a shock mount for this mic. I have ordered the pop filter screen and a boom arm in hopes to fix these few issues.

    All in all if you're looking for a USB mic I would say this is the one to get for sure! The Wave Link alone would be good reason but the microphone itself is also very high quality to the touch and sounds amazing!

    I dinked around with some slightly cheaper mikes and they were a waste of money. This has the sound quality I was looking for.

    I love this thing, it was simple to use without even installing the software for it. Just worked out of the box. I used to have a gaming headset with sometimes dubious mic quality and everyone now tells me I sound great. I have this mic sitting out of the way on the far end of my desk and it still sounds perfect. This allowed me to upgrade to a really nice pair of Sennheiser HD 599's which don't have a mic and not have to fiddle with it. Love it! Recommend this to all people who hate fiddling with microphones, it can be so easy with a little investment.

    When they added voip to tarkov two guys who sounded AMAZING told me they used this mic. I needed one and decided to get this. Such a great purchase, after setting up it I would be asked if I did podcasts or made videos etc. The quality is truly amazing, and I sound so much better. It’s very sturdy as it has a lot of weight in the stand, not easy to knock over.

    I'm not a big fan of the software - you HAVE to have it installed for this mic to work. But it's a good microphone, I wish the LEDs could be turned off completely, as it is you need to have at least one white LED in your face when using it. The mute feature is no hands so that's nice.

    There is no better mic on the market. The software takes a little bit to adjust and get right, but it is worth it hands down.

    I upgraded from the Razer Seiren X to the Elgato Wave 3 and it was a great change! This mic has a lot of great features out of the box. I don't think I ever installed the program because it works well as a plug-and-play mic. I use the built-in gain control on the dial all the time and I think it has really improved my sound quality on streams and recorded videos without me editing in post. The one con of this mic is the mute button being on top. Other than that it is a 10/10 so far!
