5.0 out of 5 stars The premise is fanciful, but the characters are real, and the ending doesn’t disappoint.

A mother witnesses her lovable, geeky teenage son commit a seemingly senseless murder and, through the power of time travel, attempts to make sense of what happened. Through a series of episodes that span twenty years, she learns that her supposedly loving husband has been keeping a dark secret.

The time jumping and character switching might challenge readers at first, but the intrigue and strong writing keep us engaged. The premise is fanciful, but the characters are real, and the ending doesn’t disappoint.

After seeing her son commit a crime, Jen begins waking up each day moving backwards in time. Each previous day she lands on brings new clues and information about events and people leading up to the crime. Her hope is to find out how to prevent this crime from ever happening. But what she finds out also changes her life in unexpected ways.

This book kept getting better because the twists just kept on coming. It also delved into what might happen if you change something during time travel. What expected and unexpected consequences might happen? Not only was this a well written story, it also makes you think about things you notice and don’t notice as you live your life and what would be different if you changed one thing.

3.0 out of 5 stars Slow start, good ending

The concept of the good is unique so initially it pulled my interest, but quickly, it moved slowly becoming repetitive. However, about halfway through it picked up and became a bot of a page turner. If you have the time and patience to give the book time to take form, it'll be worth the delay.

I had a hard time getting into this story and it didn't make sense at first. Its about a mother who witnessed her son committing murder. She is shocked as he is a good. Some how she travels back in time to unravel the reason for the crime. She discovers many things about he t spouse and her father. Its a compelling read. I enjoyed it.

I know true say don’t judge a book by it’s cover but I totally did and thank god. Captivating story, interesting characters and overall a good read.
