Keeps a SoloCam fully charged

I bought this solar panel to pair with a Eufy SoloCam e20, which was my first outdoor security camera (other than my doorbell cam). I was a little wary about how it would work, but so far it has performed excellently. I usually get a notification on sunny days that the camera is fully charged, and have never seen the camera drop as low as 50%. Granted, we don't have a ton of activity at our house but it seems to charge sufficiently even if there was.

I can also vouch for performance in bad weather. We have had a lot of clouds and snow already this winter (one month in) and I haven't noticed a reduction in performance.

I have it mounted to the metal fascia of the roof facing the afternoon sun and the wire is tucked underneath the roof around the corner to the camera. There was a lot of extra wire that I just kept looped up and fastened to the wall of the house.

Overall it works very well and odds are I'll get another one next time a SoloCam goes on sale.

The Eufy solar panel works well but will not keep the battery fully if you have a lot of videos being captured and/or if you have multiple days of cloudy weather. The charge rate is pretty lo but it does get the job done.

I had the solar panel close to half a year and I think the product held up pretty well during the rain and my camera always at 99-100% charging.

Ordered 3 other Eufy "renewed" solar panels and 2 new ones and they all worked fine. The last one I just installed the other day, took about 2 hours and the cable was nicely hidden and installed perfectly. Hooked it up to my existing 2C camera that was the last one of 6 that I have bought and it did not seem to charge. I waited and watched it this morning and in the bright sun it only slightly raised the charge percentage from 93% to 96%. As soon as it became cloudy, the charge percentage dropped to 94%. Looks like it was not repaired by Eufy correctly, or Amazon made a mistake and send me a return that was defective. Called Eufy and the first rep was not helpful.
UPDATE: Eufy got back in contact with me and made things right. Their follow up customer service was helpful and professional. Therefore, I would not be afraid to buy a renewed item from Eufy via Amazon going forward. Thank you Shane at Eufy!

Panel is great, change the power source for success

I almost returned this solar panel, the I figured out there was a setting that needed to be changed for the source of power. Which is weird, you don’t have to say to use the plug when charging off of the home base, but I digress. The cable is long enough for my needs & small enough not to be mounted which is very convenient

Water logged after 90 days of use.

Was a renewed product and worked well for 90 days of use. Camera connected to the solar panel was always at 100%. Until recently camera battery started dropping down fast. Checked and it seemed the solar panel had stopped working. Reached out to Eufy for support and was denied since 90 days had passed and warranty is no longer valid. Instead of discarding the panel away I decided to disassemble it to see if I could fix it. To my surprise water started pouring out when I took it apart. Mold has also formed in certain internal areas of the panel. I then cleaned the panel circuitry with isopropyl alcohol and left it to dry for a few minutes. Tested again and it works !! I guess due to not enough glue for waterproofing the panel water got it and caused it to stop working. Glad I was able to get it some new life. I would now think twice before buying a repaired product from Eufy again.

Doesn't seem to be charging at all...have it set up to receive direct sunlight for the majority of the day...nothing. preparing for return/refund. Will try a new unit next time...not the refurbished option.
UPDATE...The unit work great after I fully charged my camera on the charger and then plugged it back in to my solar panel. It's been several months now and I have NEVER had to charge that camera again! Full charge 24/7...great investment! 5 stars!!
