Love the features. Soft start and adjustable speed also the ability to adjust the height from above the table when mounted. All in all a huge step up from my old router. This is the first router I’ve owned with a plunge base so I’m not sure what to compare it’s function too, but it seems to work fine to me. I’d definitely recommend the refurbed deal. It came with the case and all needed accessories and looks like new.

I must say I'm really satisfied with this router.Unfortunately one of the Fixed-Base parts has been damaged. I hope you can send me a spare part and I will replace this part myself.
Because I have tested this router and I am satisfied with it. So I don't want to return the whole machine.

Please send me the part as soon as possible.

Well of course, after the 90 day return period is over my Bosch completely fails. It started acting up as I was cutting a dovetail and was surging. Today when I went to try to use it, NOTHING. The lights work and I even tried it in a different base, but still nothing. I now have to send this in (postage, etc) and I can't finish my job.

Update - I was able to send in the router and get if fixed but here it is 3 years later and an even bigger failure and when I went to get it service by a local guy he said he would have to send it in and that he's seen problems with these routers and they're not worth fixing after all's said and done with the cost of repair and shipping.

Perfect on both plunge and fixed base. Save some money and buy the refurbished model. I use this router on a Leigh FMT Pro jig.

For this Bosch MRC23EVSKRT Modular Router System (Renewed), my 90 day exchange/fix expired three days ago. After only two uses in the three months I've owned it, today the motor started to surge. Of course it would, right after my window expires! Luckily, after I contacted the seller, I found out renewed items have a 120 day return!
