Surprisingly good!

To start, I am one of those people who tend to get the "name brand" clothes. I am 6'1" about 185lbs.

I got a job that has a business casual dress so figured I would stock up on this style pants. Now here is the issue, so many of these are straight leg (baggy) or skinny (extremely tight). It is hard to find an actual SLIM chino style pant. I purchased, no exaggeration, over 15 different brand/style pants before trying these. The Ralph Lauren, Tommy, Dockers, JCrew, Clavin Klein, Levi and others! All in their "slim" styles. They were all either baggy or skinny. Only one came close to a good slim and it was a pair of Dockers Workday khaki, but the material was quite stiff.

These pants fit great. They are a very nice slim, the material is soft tho doesnt really have any stretch to them. Which almost docks a star, but nope.

I have these pants in Blue (3 pair), dark and light gray (two each), and the light and dark khaki. I may eventually grab one or two of the others, but the colors dont much go with anything I wear... The blue/grays are my favorite.

Only cons I have is, no stretch really... and The Khaki colors dont fit the same as the blue and grays for whatever reason. The khakis are a touch more baggy than slim.

Waste and length appear to be right on point for this style dress pant. I usually wear a 34x34 but with these being dress pant, I went with a 34x32 and they fit perfectly.

The length was right on, not extremely stretchy but enough for comfort. Did well in the dryer without having wrinkles. Nice looking pants.

Amazon Essential pants are pretty ok by me. Why? Well, this is important, the fabric feels good. The cut is flattering. Button pockets in the back are so much better than annoying Velcro fasteners! ????I will buy another pair. They’re reasonably priced around 30 bucks.

Versatile and Comfortable

My partner and I wanted to match our outfits for our engagement photos. After looking online most of his options for pants that matched my dress would have been about $100. In this economy? Absolutely not haha

I stumbled upon these pants and we took a chance. Boy am I happy we did! My fiancé said they were super comfortable, they matched perfectly and actually were way better quality in person than they even look online.

The fit was accurate and comfortable.

He loves the shape of these pants and also the material.

Overall 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Ok Pants, Wrinkle A Lot

I was hoping for a slimish fit pair of chinos that would be easy care. I knew they weren't permanent press, but these really, really wrinkle badly coming out of the wash. The fit is ok. Maybe a bit big on the waist and snug on the butt, but overall ok. Just wish they didn't wrinkle so badly. I'll probably try to find another pair, maybe Land's End.

Not A Lot of Stretch

I ordered three pairs of these Amazon Essentials ("AE") pants as a substitute for Lee Performance Slim fit Extreme Comfort pants; Lee just does not offer many colors in the slim fit and lately they have either been sold out or subject to exorbitant price hikes. Honestly, I was initially very disappointed with the first pair of AEs that came in all wadded up in a plastic bag and shipped in a second plastic bag. I also immediately noticed that the pants felt lighter than my Lee pants, and they are, but the actual difference in weight between the Lee and AE pants is only 2.25 ounces. I also noticed that the sewn-in waist band on the Amazon pants is less wide and less thick than the waist band of the Lees. The other two pair came in boxes, but were neatly folded, but that didn't placate me. So I was pretty much in a huff over the pants and prepared to send them back. Just to be completely sure, though, I tried on a pair of the pants, and amazingly, they actually fit well and actually looked good. Nor did they wrinkle up after I sat in them a few minutes. However, I did notice that, unlike the Lee pants, these AE pants don't seem to have any stretch in the fabric or the waist. Fortunately, the size I ordered fits me exactly so I don't need to have the stretch, for now. The Lees are much more forgiving in that regard, so when I gain a few pounds, the pants still fit comfortably. All in all, these pants are worth the money considering the look, fit, price, and large selection of colors.
