Good Window Fan

So, the biggest worry I have for window fans is the noise. This thing isn't silent, but it is much quieter than the standard window fan. It is also very powerful - even on the lowest setting. That was unexpected. On the one hand, this is great because I get too hot to sleep during the summer. On the other hand, I am very aware that there is a fan blowing on me. If you're sensitive to that sort of thing (as I am), you might actually prefer a lower power fan. I like the design. I think the handle is built into the fan box itself, and it looks like the cord is placed better inside the fan box. Overall, its was a cheap little purchase to replace our 15 yr old Lasko fan. This little guy probably won't last as long, which is a shame, but I haven't had it that long yet. Who knows?

I've Ordered A Second One!

I love this fan so much that I've ordered a second one. The first is in my living room and the second will be in bedroom. At the reasonable price, it's not a hardship to order a separate one for each one. I'm starting to approach old age and I'm thinking I'd rather not have to move it back and forth even though it's very light weight. I think I'm entitled to make things a bit easier for myself after 77 years on this planet! I like the fact that it's black; it goes well with my furniture (black and gray). It has three speeds, which is also excellent. It's just about soundless, another great feature! I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Good fan for the money. A little loud. This fan is light weight and easy to move but with that, it tips easily. I placed it a window and closed it. As with all plastic bladed fans it's not as balanced as could be. All in all it works fine and does it's job.

I would give only 4 stars because the first one they sent me didn't even work. I sent it back and they sent a replacement and it works wonderfully.

Blade broke off from hub

I bought 2 of these fans in November 2022. In September 2023 a blade on one of them broke off the hub. In addition to the initial noise of the blade hitting the enclosure, it vibrated a lot and was extremely noisy after the blade fell off.

There are two good things I can say about the experience.

The first is that the flying blade stayed within the fan enclosure - if the enclosure hadn't stopped it someone could have been hurt or something besides the fan may have been damaged.

The other good thing is that it comes with a 12 month warranty so I was able to call Amazon customer service and get a full refund. Oddly they wanted me to send the broken fan back at their expense - I don't know if someone was arbitrarily applying the rules or they wanted to see for themselves what had happened?

We bought two of these, one for our living-room and one for our children's room which doesn't cool/heat very well during those hot/cold months. I'm surprised at how much our children have been rougher than I would have wanted, and it hasn't broken yet. We've had it about a month now. I sometimes forget the one in our living-room is on; I don't realized until I'm in the room because the temperature is noticeably less. If I'm watching TV I have not had to adjust the sound due to the little noise this makes. That isn't to say it's soundless, there is noise from it, but barely.

I have been using the fan since it arrived and had no issues. It seems smaller than the very common Lasko brand but it seems to offer the same high air circulation flow as the Lasko type fans

Contrary to many reviews the fan that I have isn't bad at all. It moves a considerable amount of air in a room like a bedroom, even on low. It's not the quietest box fan I've owned but it isn't the loudest either. It's also pretty sturdy despite appearances. I've dropped it a half dozen times in the month I've had it and it doesn't even have a dent on it let alone a destroyed fan blade (The fan blades are made of pretty flimsy plastic.). All in all if this fan lasts a year or two, considering how things are not made to last on purpose, I'm grudgingly (I should not have to be satisfied with short-lived products but considering almost everything like this is now made in China.............)pretty satisfied with this fan.
