Burns far cleaner than the regular Tiki BiteFighter torch fuel

This burns far cleaner than the regular Tiki BiteFighter torch oil. The flame is also less energetic. This is a good thing, as it appears that the burn rate might be slower as well. In my opinion, it smells better as well. I like the regular oil and will continue to use it in my yard torches. I have a couple of table lamps and three wall torches mounted on a column on my patio. This will be my go to product for those. This does cost a bit more than the regular oil, but I think it's well worth it for table torches. Yard torches would depend on their location. Mine are far enough into the yard for soot not to be an issue.

I trust the Tiki brand and I was excited to see a product that offers the same effectiveness, but with less smoke.

Sometimes I forget that we have the torches burning because there is no noxious smoke interfering with our outdoor enjoyment. It has the same effective citronella mosquito deterrence.

The product is a much better value online because it’s about eight dollars more expensive in the store and since I live in a cabin, I have to drive 30 minutes to go buy some. Ordering it on Amazon, I get it straight to my door in the woods..

Okay. I bought this because I was d e s p e r a t e to just be able to go outside in my garden in the morning/evenings without being eaten alive by mosquitos. My home backs up to a wooded area. I am not exaggerating when I say I would come inside with 30+ bites on MY LEGS ALONE. Again, not exaggerating. Those mother-suckers love me! I bought some tiki torches from Home Depot (Cheaper at Home Depot so make sure to check before ordering the torches on Amazon) and placed two about 3ft away from my garden bed on either side. I have a 12ft x 4ft garden bed. I will update if anything changes, because maybe it is just a coincidence, but I didn't even see a mosquito let alone get bit while I had these things going. I am already on my second bottle since I bought more torches. Curious to see how long the fuel lasts. I only run them about an hour max at a time. So far so good! I should also mention, I have never used the regular burning type so unsure of how it compares with "clean-burning" but I do like the idea of it being clean, I would say I still see some smoke but (I mean its burning something so..) I never really smell anything, either! Would absolutely recommend.

No overpowering smell!

I use this Tiki fuel in various jars and torches on our back deck. I really like this BiteFighter version of the brand, because there is little to no smell from the burning oil. The strong odor of other oils and candles is overpowering to me and unappetizing when we're eating on the deck. This version still keeps mosquitoes away, but doesn't keep ME away.

Overpriced. Still has black smoke. Less so than NON "smokeless" variants but it does still have black smoke from the flame.
