This leaf blower is such a treat to use. I've never ran low on battery, I use it for my front and backyard. I probably sit on a quarter acre lot but I have three fully grown trees, a full backyard and a front yard.
The power level settings are great and the trigger action is so smooth, I usually keep my leaf blower in off mode and just use the trigger. The turbo feature is very robust. I can use turbo for much of my leaf blowing and still retain some battery leftover when I place it back into the charger after use.
It's light-weight and it's all you will need if you're like me who only bought one to fight off clippings, leaves and random sticks, rocks and wood chips my dog brings up my porch.

I’ve been through a few blowers and this by far is the best. Powerful and lightweight, I like the 3 speed settings. So far the battery life has been excellent and charges fast about 20-30 minutes.

Short battery life on boost

Overall, this is an excellent blower. It's easy to use and has ample blowing power. I like that you can adjust the speed either with the trigger or by setting the speed dial. The tapered nozzle didn't add as much blowing power as I expected. I find that I can move just as much material without it. The 2.5 amp battery will last a good while IF YOU DON'T USE BOOST MODE. Boost mode does provide a big boost in blowing power, but the battery will run down in just a few minutes of using that mode. If you need that much power, you're going to need to go with a bigger (and very expensive) battery or use a gasoline model. Like all EGO products, the battery seems sturdy, recharges quickly, and fits other EGO tools.

I bought a Ego chainsaw over a year ago. Totally happy with the product. Surpassed my expectations.
I bought this so i could interchange my batteries from saw to blower. It worked great. Ego makes a nice product.

After a couple weeks: Unit is great!! The blower on reg/high does a fine job, but not overpowering. If i hit turbo it kicks in real powerful. But really takes the juice down. Power costs! Very balanced unit, VERY happy. I have two batteries, so i rotate them. Never runs out that way!

OK, it's a leaf blower. You don't use it a whole lot, though it is quite handy. You can knock all the excess grass clippings away after yard trimming in no time. And to my surprise after finally popping the money for one, it's actually fun! Especially now that I don't spend 15 minutes sweeping and bagging those clippings anymore. Really, tool people, get you a leaf blower. It's not going to be your most used tool, but you'll appreciate it.

Ok, I've already got an EGO yard trimmer and an EGO hedge trimmer which you would do well to find a way to try out somehow. They are really powerful and no more fuss and muss with extension cords or mixing gas. You pop the battery in and you go to work. They are fantastic!

So I got the leaf blower with the battery and charger, no good reason for that other than you save money on those by getting the package. That way I have an extra because the batteries are indeed, interchangeable with all the EGO tools accept the chainsaw. KNOW that if this is your FIRST EGO tool, you WILL need to purchase the one with the battery and charger. But if you have another EGO tool with the battery and/or charger, you can can save a considerable amount of money by just getting the blower.

Now I got this one, which is 3 steps up from the entry level, simply because it was on sale at the time and the same price as the entry level one. I believe I'm glad I did. It really blows powerfully. And that's what's fun about it, if only for a couple of minutes. I believe it's totally safe though. My boys (adult) get a little stupid with it blowing their mouths all wild and open and for tick-tock and such. God favors the silly, but I put safety goggles on them and you may be wise to consider that when legiteamately using all EGO tools too. Like I said, they are powerful.

Now a little about EGO batteries. The replacements are pricey, which I think is what detours people away from EGO. But know that they last a very LONG time. I got my EGO string trimmer with my first battery about 5 years ago and I regularly trim 3 big yards. It is just now beginning to loose charge time. And the chargers will last forever so you really only need one, which can save you some money too. I did get another charger and battery with the hedge trimmer package though, which again, saved me some cash by buying the package. This way I can always have a fully charged backup or two, which I sometimes need. Expect about 2 hours of charge for the lawn trimmer, 3 or 4 for the hedge trimmer, and I think the blower will hold charge forever.

So, I'm an EGO fan and thinking about getting the chainsaw maybe if my gas powered one ever goes out. I hear it is very powerful too. The lawnmower is just too pricey for me at this point and I mow a lot of grass to be using an electric mower, but who knows?

Now, I wouldn't consider this for professional lawn care. You guys would need like 20 batteries to get through the day with these. This is purely for landlords and personal yard work. And, I like it!
