- "I gave my iPod Touch to my fiance's 3 year old sister and she could not put it down." (AmpedGaming.com review)
- "Parents need to know that Giraffe's PreSchool Playground is a cheerful educational app that includes six games to
teach ABCs and numbers, seek-and-find skills, and animal names. The Photo Playground is a picture-making game and
kids can make their own animal scenes and save them to the device's photo gallery...The app is very easy and
intuitive, with big simple buttons to press and a little cartoon giraffe who provides spoken instructions."
(Common Sense Media review)

again. Thanks so much for offering the free mp3 download!"

5.0 out of 5 stars Son loves this game.
Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2012
We really enjoy this app, at least once I get my son to start playing and stop listening to the theme song! The only complaint that I have is that it's too easy, my son just turned 2 and has mastered all of the games, so while he is still having fun I can no longer say that he is learning. Perhaps you could add an option to go up to 100 with the numbers and select letters based on sound rather than just name? And even more types of animals or perhaps rather than just find the kangaroo or the frog how about which animal is a marsupial or amphibian for a higher level of play, my son would just love that and science is important for preschoolers as well! I love to hear my little guy tell me that koalas eat eucalyptus and pandas eat bamboo, wish there were apps that supported a young interest in science. Oh, one last thing that would be cool is a choice between the abc song and a counting song in the song room. OK, obviously there are tons of things you could add to any game, but those that I mentioned would work well with what you've already got... or maybe I should write my own app, lol. Either way, thanks for the great product, we love it and it's lots of fun!

You guys should really make a kindergarten app as well, we are ready and waiting!

3.0 out of 5 stars Game itself was great. Only install on a locked down device!
Reviewed in the United States on July 4, 2014
I have young children in this game itself is great for their age. However I would only recommend installing this app if you have some security measures in place. My recommendation is to have your device rooted (which should already be the case because that is the only way that you can actually own your device that you paid for) and have a proper firewall, or if you are not rooted at least have Mobiwol or No root firewall. You also need an app locker as the game can launch your email client and the Amazon app store, even if you are using one of those cool "child safe environment" launchers. With all that in mind I am very happy to have the same on my device for my kids to play.

1.0 out of 5 stars Bad game
Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2014
A game for a pre-school aged crowd should do more to accommodate their audience. This game/tool was confusing to me and I couldn't let my little on play with it unsupervised (like on car rides) because she would get lost in the clicks that would take her to pages and pages of settings and games with no audible explanations (not sure if there were written instructions but she can't read yet so it's useless!!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow!

Okay, I don't pay for a lot of apps, but my daughter loved the memory game by this developer, so I thought.what the heck, I'll give it a shot. For $.99 what can it hurt? It's fantastic! My three year old reads and does math at an elevated level, but she's still three, so older apps are often too old and younger apps are typically boring. This app has so much variety and isn't all straight math and reading. It also trains spacial reasoning and object placement. She loves decorating the rooms and animal habitats. This is by and far the best app for tiddler's I've ever seen. And it's one heck of a bang for your buck.

2.0 out of 5 stars Would be great if not for easy access to unwanted areas and scary permissions
Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2014
It's a great concept, but for a paid app, it shouldn't have intrusive permissions. The design isn't well thought out, any access to options and Internet is just asking my little one to get in trouble. I hate to say it, instead of wasting $$ on tons of apps, check out ABCMouse.com, it has and great and op and website. My daughter was reading at 2 1/2 years old, perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect!

I work with toddlers with special needs and have been SEARCHING for an app like this! I love that it not only teaches receptive language but combines it with an immediate (and varied!) cheer from the goofy giraffe. It also gives varied Sd's (ABA-speak for cues), "can you find" "I'm looking for" etc. It's as if they knew all the things I was looking plus a few that I hadn't even thought of. My only complaint? I wish they would make more apps like this!

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Basic Learning App.
Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2014
It's nicely made and a decent learning app. There are several different activities available, all free. It's very colorful, good animations and sound works great. The only complaint I have is the main menu. The options button is super big and allows access to the internet and may lead to accidentally purchasing something. Also, the start button is camouflaged. I didn't even notice it at first. As long as you have parental controls on or in-app purchasing disabled, this app should be fine for your kids :)

3.0 out of 5 stars has potential
Reviewed in the United States on July 3, 2014
The sample pictures were a lot more clear than the actual app pictures. In the app, they were fairly grainy and a bit rough.
The repetitive alphabet tapping wasn't bad. I like that it showed upper and lower case.
The numbers could use some order to them. For kids learning to count, this isn't helpful, other than number recognition.
The various animals are cute. I'm not a fan of the photo being saved to my device without my permission. But being able to create their own little scene is a cute idea. Small fingers may have an easier time moving things around. My fingers deleted objects and moved the wrong thing.
Without my parental controls, I would be able to access and download other apps by clicking on the ads on the main page. I'm definitely not a fan of this feature. It would be nice to have an extra security feature here.
