Love this idea for storing 4x6 photos - and it made my sorting job so much easier. (I've also trimmed down some 5x7s to fit as well). I made little labels to make it easy for our kids to search through them; and now we don't have family photos stacked in boxes, envelopes, and bags anymore! The little snap closure on each is super easy to open (unlike some others), and may not be as sturdy with more opening-closing, but with the outer storage box it isn't a concern anyway. The outer box is very sturdy and has a great handle as well.

I prefer the latches on these over the others that are very similar. They are much easier for small children and me to close. When you squeeze the box, shut it auto latches, whereas in the competition, you have to pull out the latch on the small boxes and then push them back in once the box is closed, and it can be challenging to push the latch back in on the competition. I purchased two different kinds and made the mistake of repurchasing the wrong company when I wanted this box. Some of the videos are not included because they show the kind of latches that are not the kind that came from this order that flaps up rather than just a brief pull-out to unlatch and then they go back into place.

Purchased these to store thousands of family, friends and trips photos I have from old days when photos were printed. They have worked great for this. When full they become really heavy so I handle with care when moving as cases are sturdy but can easily brake if dropped. Great item for what I pay for it and would use for anything else that needs storage in a container that can fit easily anywhere.

I use this carrying case to carry my card games! This case is super sturdy and easy to use and handle and I love that I can take my games and get rid of the useless boxes. So love this case!!

 Saw this item used as seed storage and loved the organization idea. Works well to keep my direct and transplant seeds separated. The only thing that has been extremely frustrating is that the handle and the lock for the case is next to each other and I have grabbed the lock when picking up the box more times than I would like to admit causing all the smaller boxes inside to fall. Although this has happened a few times, happy to report that none of the smaller boxes broke!

Saw this item used as seed storage and loved the organization idea. Works well to keep my direct and transplant seeds separated. This was the BEST purchase I’ve made to date to get organized. I purchased 6 of these and it helped me organize photos and do the beautiful thing of walking down memory land from childhood thru 23 years of marriage. Give yourself the gift of organizing your photos.

However if photos aren’t your goal, these would be great to organize kids toys like Legos or doll cloths. Use you imagination and buy them, you won’t regret it..

I'm impressed with Amazon's search algorithms. It connected me to one other reviewer of this photo storage product that had instead used this product for garden seed storage. I'm here to tell you, this (or similar product) is any serious gardener's perfect seed storage system. I raise about 700 garden starts every year, have a lot of seed and this product is life changing.

This storage box goes so far beyond a shoe box that I can't even imagine going back. Having a superior organization of my seed bank allows me to save money on seeds every year, more easily figure out what I do and don't want to grow again and improves the varieties I actually plant each year. It makes planting days a breeze, just grab the containers of things you need to plant and you have every variety in your bank all right there. It's a complete and flexible genetic organization of vegetables and flowers in a small, easy to store package. It fits my largest packets and smallest packets, my home grown seed collection and still has room to grow into.

Basically, if you have a lot of similarly characterized small items, this could be a good storage solution for you. Embroidery, fly tying, arts and crafts and various hardware all come to mind. I thought it was well worth the twenty five bucks for the sanity it brought to a challenging storage problem.
