This is great on my stovetop. Works nicely with my pots and pans as well. It washes easily but some fuzz (we have dogs and I have long hair) gets stuck to it and it makes it tougher to clean. But I would still purchase because it fits my top perfectly, looks good and allows me more space on my counter without fear of scratching the stovetop.

I wanted a mat for baking purposes. This mat offers a huge working surface, plus it's heat resistant silicone that the seller says can take heat up to 482 degrees F. My mat was not black, as ordered, but a shiny black and white geometric design instead (see photo). I'm holding one corner up in the photo so the degree of thickness can be seen (thin yet hardy). It's thin but not too thin, and it's flexible. It came with a white plastic scraper. It easily folds or rolls up for storage. It arrived folded -- when I opened it up to its full length, I was surprised that there were no telltale signs that it had been folded.

This mat can be used in different ways, from protecting countertops from hot pots and pans or preparing baked goods on a nonstick surface (pizza crusts, breads, pie crusts, gnocchi or other goodies) to creating an easily cleanable workspace for children or adults to enjoy creative activities without scratching the counter or table. If smaller mat sizes are desired, the seller suggests that the mat lends itself to cutting to your desired size(s). I hope this information helps you.

This heat resistant silicone mat was larger than I needed for my intended purpose. I knew that I could cut it to fit, but I decided to just keep it and use it as a landing spot for hot things and a large space for rolling things out like dough as it is larger than my cutting boards and I can clean it better (I admit, I'd been sanitizing and using the kitchen table - this is definitely better)

The non-skid feature is great as it doesn't slip and slide when rolling pizza dough. Nothing sticks which is always amazing. I don't plan to bake on it, but if the occasion arises I don't see any reason why I shouldn't.

Convenient, protects countertops & useful for buffets

This is a very large silicone mat that I wanted to protect my countertops when I use my Ninja Foodie as well as protection for hot dishes I place on the counter.

The mat itself feels like heavy plastic with a very textured surface.

I use the mat when grilling on my Ninja. It protects my countertops well and doesn’t seem to be marred by even the hottest pans or plates. I’ve also used it to place hot dishes on my dining room table for buffet dinners - it eliminates the need for clumsy plates and coasters - and it covers a good portion of the table. It cleans up very easily with just a quick swipe of a cloth with soap & water. It includes a nice, wide scraper which I haven’t had a need to use yet.

I am very happy with this mat and would recommend it to anyone who uses devices like air fryers, indoor grills, or hot pans - or who needs a mat to put hot dishes on during a buffet.

Protects Countertop

As you can see from the photo, this is meant to sit underneath our air-fryer. Unfortunately, the air-fryer was recently recalled and we are waiting on its replacement. So you'll have to use your imagination... But in the mean time, we've used it handle hot baking dishes (brownies last night) from the oven and it holds up very well.

This is very large. We've debated on whether we will actually cut it down or not. I want to leave it as it is, because once the air-fryer is on it, we still need that area in front for when we pull the basket out with its very hot contents. But we'll see. I don't think I get the final decision on that.

It's silicone, so it washes up like a charm. It doesn't slide around the counter-top, but stays where you put it.

My counter-top is a darker gray and the black and white checker pattern doesn't look bad. Might have preferred the solid black, but it doesn't look bad.
