    Every time we get a power surge and outage, the defrost element goes out. But I have never tried this brand. The original and 1 cheaper replacement have gone out. But this is a pretty simple fix after watching it on YouTube.

    The defrost heater, after fit with an adapter, fit in my Hipoint refrigerator nicely. This item costs only $25 instead of $100 or more of the OEM parts. I am happy with the purchase.

    No complaints but check the part number you need. My Frigidaire listed a different part number in the manual but the Frigidaire website lists this part number when you try to buy a replacement.

    My 6 year old fridigdair was freezing up,,I know of 5 items that can comonly cause that and this is one,,the others evaporator fan,,timer,, defrost t stat,it clips on the element,, and or blockage to the air flow doors,,I replaced the defrost thermostat at the same time and put in a new defrost timer as well, works like it should again for under 35 dollars,,thanks distributors and Amazon
