About this item

Accurate Food Amount :Compared with ordinary fish feeders with only one compartment, Petbank updated automatic fish feeder contains 16 grids in total, which is able to provide 15 individual meals, convenient to store a variety of food. Each grid holds up to 2g, ensuring high food accuracy. Note: Please don't store fish food at the outlet compartment
2 Setup Methods :Petbank aquarium feeder provides two different installation ways to fit different types of aquariums. You can either mount it to the tank by adjustable clamp base, or stick it on the tank cover with suction cup. Both methods are easy to operate, so you can choose any way to meet your needs
Moisture-resistant Design: Unlike other auto fish feeder with one opening that is always on, making food inside wet or jammed easily, Petbank auto food dispenser is fully sealed against moisture, whose opening will close automatically after each feeding. This thoughtful design effectively keeps fish food dry. Petbank accommodates most types of food, such as particle feed, pellets, powders and small strips. Note: It’s not for shrimps and flakes
Customized Feeding Time :With the help of intelligent LCD display and timer function, Our automatic fish feeder can be programmed up to 3 feedings per day, with maximum 3 grids per feeding. You can also set it to feed at any time of the day and have it deliver every single or two or three or four day. If you want to experience the fun of feeding, you can also choose manual feeding
USB Rechargeable: Petbank rechargeable timer feeder features 700mAh built-in battery, which can be fully charged in 3 hours and then last up to 1 to 2 month. (type-C charging cable included). No need to buy batteries repeatedly, which is energy and cost saving

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for aquariums with lids

Tried several auto fish feeders, and the others (esp the ones that look like the shape of a gun dispenser) will dispense way too much food, which is a nightmare if you're using this for a trip and don't have anyone else to care and feed for your beloved pet fish. I like that you can determine how much food per feeding will be dispensed, and you can set a timer so that it feeds three different times throughout the day (or you can opt for just once).

The other autofeders that I tried requires you to attach the feeder to one of the aquarium walls, which didn't work for my setup because I have fish that jump, and so, I prefer a lid over my aquarium. This feeder is excellent if you use a lid and it has a feeding hole. To do this, I placed it right above the feeding hole, and it dispenses pretty well at the time(s) you set. If you prefer to afix the feeder to your aquarium wall, it comes with a screw and stand so that you can do that too. I like the versatile options! It is wireless and charges pretty quickly, and the charge lasts a long time. The last time I charged it was almost 2 weeks ago, and I haven't had the need to charge it yet.

One caveat is that though it works really really well, you might need to train/condition your fish that the food will come from the feeding hole if you don't use the hole on a regular basis or an autofeeder. After a week or so of training my fish, he knew to come up in the morning for his food. Otherwise, the food would've just floated away, dirtying the water.

This autofeeder is exactly what I was looking for in terms of ease of setup, reliability, and amount of food dispensed. This will save me time and money from asking friends or others to stop by and care/feed my fish. When traveling and no one is checking on my fish, I set up a Blink camera to ensure all is well with my pet. The Blink camera and this fish feeder are a game changer for anyone looking for an auto feeder!

5.0 out of 5 stars The perfect feeder. Works with flakes too.

This is a fantastic feeder with very precisely molded plastic components. it seems like high quality and does an excellent job with pellet and other foods like that. Despite the description, I have used flake food effectively, but the flakes do cling to edges and get caught under the rotating ring, so it needs cleaned very often with flakes, but still usable if you understand the expectations of doing so. The best part of this feeder is that you control exactly what each feeding will be and how much. The programming options are great, 1, 2 or 3 times daily with times you set, or skip days. Manual trigger a feeding as well. Battery lasted several weeks before it was down below half. The USB-C charging port is on the side fully exposed, so do yourself a favor and cover the port with some tape to keep it clean.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great feeder, just not for bettas :(

I was very excited to find an automatic feeder for my betta that was rechargeable, user-friendly, and affordable. This one hit the mark but, unfortunately, betta food is too small for the compartments, so they easily slide around, making feeding amounts inaccurate. Other than that, this feeder does everything it says it would and is super easy to use!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sets Up Nice (Will Update as I use it)

(EDIT - 4/6/2024) The feeder seems to be going great! My fish have learned where the food is and they seem to be doing well. I have noticed a little moisture on the bottom of the feeder but I don’t think it will cause issues. It doesn’t seem to have any moisture buildup inside the unit’s feeding sections but I will check occasionally. I use flake food which works but SUPER tiny flakes sometimes get caught underneath the walls when it rotates. Not an issue for me. May require cleaning but as of right now it doesn’t seem to be an issue. It drops probably 99% of the food into the tank. I still have not had to charge it.

I just set this thing up on the top of my 40-gallon tank. I have an Aqueon top with a plastic strip and a hole cut into it. The feeding window is almost the same size as the plastic strip, so I hope food doesn't get caught on the top. Opening the book, it was fairly simple to set up. The buttons were a tad confusing but using some common sense I managed to figure it out nicely. I set it for 1 feeding a day and tested the manual feed button. It seemed to work well so I loaded the food. I am using flake food, which might get caught in the walls but I guess we will wait and see. It seems like decent portions for my 40-gallon; I only have a few smaller fish, some snails, and plants and it can easily fit my usual feeding amount in each spot with plenty of room. I used the suction cups to mount it on the top of the tank instead of the clamp, which slips off nicely. The suction cups seem to hold it but I wouldn't trust it to hang over a precarious edge. One of the suction cups seems to slip and the unit can be pushed slightly left and right. It took a few hours to be "full charge", so we will see how long it takes before the charge ran out. It wasn't a bad price compared to other feeders on the market. I like this one because if this does work, it has the benefit of being able to easily set the amount of food unlike rotating barrel feeders. The fish were first confused where their food was since this is their first automatic feeder so I will be monitoring it to make sure it is dispensing food properly.

One week after we set up a new aquarium with conditioned water and living tropical fish, we remembered that we needed to go out of town for a few days. We didn't want to have to ask anyone to stop by daily to feed the fish. We also didn't want a feeding block sitting in the tank, soaking up all of the water, making it cloudy and smelly. We took a chance and ordered this unit and boy am I glad we did. It's clean, easy to set up, and reliable. We have returned from our trip and we're still using it. Makes life pretty easy. Great product!
