I had older version but lost it. Reviews said it would no work on Windows 7. I had older laptop with Windows 95 so I bought it. I also had laptop with Windows 7 and Windows 10. It loaded and worked on all three computers. Super bargain, great recipes. Some are not real recipes but fun to read, such as cooking an elephant, or fast KFC recipe. Also some really helpful craft recipes.

I have given this C. D. to my son. He is a gormet cook. not by proffesion, but he loves to cook. He always uses these C.D.s this one is an update. He keeps it in his computer so he always knows where it is. I have sent him many gifts pertaining to cookings. this one is less expensive than the other gifts I have given him. This one he values over all of them.

This item did not mention the fact that it would not run on windows 7 and was not offered a refund from the seller. So I Have a product that is unusable. fortunately the item was very inexpensive. .

I was under the impression that this product would work with Windows 10. But I recieved the package and tryed to load the execute and it failed and would not work. All CD's and DVD's should be forced to let the public know what systems they will work with. I'l try to find someone that has a computer which will use the product. If anyone has a way to use the product on windows 10 please let me. Thanks, Fred

This is a wonderful product.

It is not as user-friendly as the previous version (Easy Chef's One Million Recipes - 1999) but does have a easy to use interface.

As far as using this as reference material, you will not find anything better !!!

There are a few flaws...

This program has a feature to print your recipe to a 3x5 recipe card. As with the previous version, i have never been able to get it to work properly.

Also, you can search for a recipe by ingredients... This feature does not work. (previous version worked just fine)

Many recipe's are redundant.
(EXAMPLE: 5,000+ recipes for Sauerkraut Balls)

This can be confusing (& overwhelming) at times, but this gives you the opportunity to see how many variations there can be for just one recipe.

I often view several variations of a recipe and pick & choose the best features & ingredients to come up with my own "original" recipe.

If you know the difference between a teaspoon & a Tablespoon, this is a "Must Have" for all inspiring chefs.

A lot of great ideas and variations to choose from. It is easy to use and find the recipes you want or look it up with the ingredients you have to cook with.

bad part is in order tp use it the disk is required to be in drive. in my opinion makes it useless as i don't want to hunt disk each time i want to use it, master cookbook 11 much better...
