    I bought the ice maker as a present for myself on my birthday and not only me but all the people that visited my home felt in love with it, to the point that my fridge ice maker was never used again. But a month before the year the ice maker stop working, I was so sad, but contacted the company and they explained step by step what to do and how to send them the information they were asking for to see what was going wrong with it after I did what they told me, they replied right away telling me they were sending a new one. Not only the product is wonderful but it was such a pleasure dealing with the company, I recommend both100%, the only bad thing is that when you start using it you will never want anything else. I give the company and the ice maker 5 stars. I know that mine didn’t lasted long but things happens and everyone I know that have one have never had any problems and they have had it for a really long time.

    UPDATE 2: After reaching out to the manufacture multiple times via email and the chat on their app no response was ever given. Amazon even tried to reach them and had no luck. Based on my experience I do NOT recommend buying anything from Gevi.

    UPDATE: bought this less than two months ago and it randomly started screaming at me when trying to make ice. Did all the things (defrosted, cleaned) nothing works. Now having to contact customer service and hope they are a good company!

    Had this for roughly a week now and it has been amazing! Followed all the set up instructions and it makes ice like a champ! It has run almost nonstop after opening and it performs so well!
    It is super quiet, sleek, fits on the counter top perfectly and the little cubes are pretty firm!
    It holds ice well inside the machine and it only cuts off when it’s out of water or the bucket is full. It’s hard not to chew on ice all day long!
    I don’t know how I lived with out this machine before now!

    Gevi Household V2.0 Countertop Gemi Nugget Ice Maker - this machine is gorgeous. It fits perfectly on our countertop right underneath the upper cabinets. It's sleek design fits right in with our traditional kitchen. Love the door on the front which also serves as a tray for the ice container. This is a cleaner design than other brands we have tried in the past; with no water drops on the counter.

    The ice maker is easy to fill, and this is great - as we go through a lot of ice. It makes ice quickly and is quiet. The ice is crunchy and the perfect consistency. We love it!

    We did need to contact customer service due to a loud noise which started early on, and the Gevi Customer Support has been phenomenal to work with. They have actual representatives to speak with, who take the time to listen to your issue and find a resolution. five stars for companies who care like Gevi!

    I should've listened to the other reviews. This Ice machine broke 5 months after purchasing. It gave the error that the water was gone when it was actually full. That's what majority of the bad reviews were also saying. I reached out to Gevi and they asked for a video of the problem which I sent and they were happy to send a new machine after I returned the broken one. They paid for the shipping label. I returned it and I was sent a new machine but not in the color I originally purchased. Bummer, but at least I got a new machine. Well just under 4 months after getting that one, same problem. Low water when actually full. Just starting the same process all over again. It appears they'll send me a new one of after I return this one. Wish I just bought a different machine in the first place that won't keep going out. It's way too expensive to be having these problems over and over...One more thing. Some reviews mention it gets very loud. It does. It appears most often when it runs the cleaning cycle. Which it does about once a day. Only sometimes its extremely loud and sometimes just kinda loud. One night I forgot to power off before going to bed and it blasted in the middle of the night. My rooms on the top floor and my kitchen the main floor and it still shook me awake cuz how loud it was. Both machines did this at least once a week. Do yourself a favor and just buy a different machine..

    I’ve been using this more several months now. It produces fantastic “Sonic” ice. We fill a few gallon ziplock freezer bags at a time to have extra on hand all the time. But honestly the ice is best coming straight out of the machine when it’s pretty soft and easy to chew. It’s a game changer. We purchased the white color. Since it stays out on our countertops, the white blends more naturally next to our white cabinets. Glad they had an option of white, black or stainless to fit personal preferences. You will hear it running but it’s truly not loud at all, maybe a pinch more noticeable than the dishwasher running. I read lots of reviews different models and people talking about how loud some models were. That has not been my experience at all. I did purchase an extended warranty since countertop ice makers haven’t been around long. There was a pretty significant coupon on this model on Amazon when I purchased so I used that to justify getting the warranty - it’s nice piece of mind, imo.
    Lastly, make sure to double check measurements! It’s a pretty large unit. There were other models that were slightly too tall to fit under my cabinets. This model fits with room to spare and I believe the manufacturer recommends 6” clearance on each side for proper ventilation, which you will definitely want to adhere to.
    Finally always used a filtered water to prolong the life of the machine. Go ahead and buy some descaling solution for regular cleaning maintenance. It’s an investment in an appliance and once you are spoiled with “Sonic” ice at home everyday, you will want to make sure your machine is well taken care of. Definitely worth the investment!
