    Perfect repair to my Whirlpool fridge!

    One of the light switches in my fridge quit working - some small adjustment in the mechanism didn't allow it to work correctly. Could the old switch have been repaired? Maybe, not not worth the effort given the low cost and quick delivery of this replacement. The old switch snapped right out with just a little effort (and two stiff plastic automotive trim removal tools). Two wires clipped right onto the new one and it popped back in with no effort at all.

    It took me a month to finally make the effort to figure this out - so simple, I should have done it sooner!

    My refrigerator light switch stopped working. I purchased this switch for my Whirlpool refrigerator. It was easy to replaced the old switch (using a putty to remove the old switch) for the new one. I would definitely recommend this product.

    Getting the old switch out was hard part. Had to break plastic trim cover off old switch, used surgical gripping tweezer, .035x.50W shim stock and small needle nose pliers.
    New Switch fit snug and works.
    Holding back 1 star too see how long it lasts.

    Somehow guest managed to break the light in the frig of a cabin that I manage. So instead of calling repair guy I ordered this and replaced it myself. It was easy and didn't cost the owners a lot of $.

    The original switch had a tab that would sometimes get bumped while removing things from our fridge. This new switch works great and doesn't have the tab that was always getting bumped, I find myself hitting it much less often.
