Second one I bought !

My first one is 12 years old and still going strong - over 800000 pages printed - so I bought another one for the home office. If all you want to do is print text - this is the one to get! Fast and the toner cartridges - which may seem expensive - last a long time - your cost per page is 1/10 the cost of a current HP.

The price was good but turned out the printer is not new, it is used, likely refurbished, which actually made the price in line. Missing back piece, broken tabs on top piece, and broken corner, all shown in picture. Replacing an identical printer made it all work out as I took parts from the old and installed on the new. And the printer would have worked fine without replacing those parts. Operationally the printer is good. Seller was contacted, they asked for a pic of the printer showing issues which I provided to them. Never heard anything back.

I was leary of a refurb that had to ship,took a chance because I have had 2 of these printers that have worked like donkeys for the last 8 or 10 years. Arrived well packed, very very clean, really looks new.

Note that it did NOT come with toner, which was bothersome, but still a great printer inexpensive.

UPDATE: contacted seller to let them know I didn't get Toner, and it was advertised as duplex...they promptly sent me a cartridge and duplexer. Class act.

I had a 16 year old HP 4250n and I loved it. It finally stopped working and I wanted to get the same one again because it prints so many pages and so fast. I'm a teacher and it has been a life saver when I can't get to a copy machine. I just used the renewed one from Amazon and it worked great! It's so quiet compared to the old one. If anything changes I'll come back and update but as of just out of the box, I'm extremely happy!

How do I set this printer up?

Hi, I just received my refurbished HP 4250n LaserJet printer. It didn't include an instruction manual or any cords except for the power cord. The product listing said it would come with everything needed to have it work.

The ad for the HP 4250N clearly states that it came with a Duplexer.

Also, in the Q&A someone from the company answered a question as to whether it came with toner; Yes

I received it with neither and was told, twice, that it doesn't come with the Duplexer or toner under this part number. The ad clearly states that it does. Do not trust these people.

This refurbished printer does work ,but the moving parts are so worn out it almost cant be used. It makes so much noise when printing its embarrassing. The people who are selling this a a refurb, clearly just clean the outsides, make sure it starts and prints and send it out the door. . I would not buy from these guys again.
