    It works well and much less resource intensive. My laptop processor fan was screaming with Windows 7 Pro 64 ,would frequently lock up and just performed like a 90's PC. Considering it had 16gb memory,, Solid state drive and a 2.7 dual core processor it should have been quite fast. Well on Linux mint it is quite fast and stable. There is a learning curve but the creators of the new Linux have made it quite simple to do your everyday computing. Try it, you'll probably like it.

    would not boot from CD or install after 8 hours of effort. Arrived 1 day after tracking date said it was delivered. Have to get away from Windows 10 before I hit the computer with a hammer.

    I don't know if there is a QC trial run performed before these discs go out. I've run Linux Ubuntu & Mint off of numerous USB drives and SD cards I downloaded to over the past decade+. This is the first & last disc I will use for this OS. Had some issues. Could be me- but just the practicality issue favors USB. I have a little old ASUS Aspire One with no DVD drive, so I use an external ASUS drive. PIA. And the disc seems corrupted, glitchy, buggy. compared to LM Sarah 18 on my HP laptop.

    Install really easy even when I had to do it a second time because I messed up and didn't have the keyboard attached

    It installed simple enough. However I went to boot my computer afterwards and it took forever to see the login screen. I am talking hours in some cases. and then I had to manipulate the mouse or key board in a certain way to get it to happen. I am still unsure of exactly how that was supposed to work. I ended up loading Linux Solus on top of it. No more problems.
