    My laundry room is just the mini space between the garage and family room. The space always looks messy. There was no folding area and things would fall behind the washer and dryer. This counter was easily to assemble and felt like good quality (heavy duty). It fit perfectly. This was a quick and easy, and affordable solution to neaten up the space. I liked all of the color options but chose the eucalyptus wood look color to create some contrast. Note: the counter came with pieces of foam the same size. I put that piece of foam between the counter and the machines to protect the surface instead of the pads the product came with.

    After removing the builder-grade wire shelving above our washer and dryer, my wife wanted a place to display a couple baskets and laundry items. If you've ever sat things on top of the washer or dryer, you know they eventually end up behind the appliances. This countertop with edge rails was the perfect solution. We ordered the Eucalyptus finish and it looks great in our laundry room. It even comes with furniture protector pads to keep your appliances scratch-free.

    This countertop is also very easy to assemble. The top piece has some clever slots that are open on one end and narrow on the other. The edge rails have integrated tabs. All you have to do is align the slots with the tabs and slide/tap the rails into place. (I used a piece of the cardboard shipping corner protectors to protect the finish and tapped the rails in place with a hammer.) Once the rails are attached, they are solidly secured with no screws, nails, or cams.

    Customer Service--
    We were disappointed when our countertop arrived with a crack/scratch on the largest piece that faces up and would be visible. The box had a corresponding cut in it, so it looked like it had been damaged in shipping. I initiated an Amazon return and contacted the seller. After providing some pictures of the box and the damaged item, the seller told me not to worry about returning it (it's a big, unwieldy box so that would have been a hassle) and immediately shipped a new one. We received it today and are very pleased with both the product and the customer service.

    I just used a piece of the foam packing to put under the top and set it right on top of that to prevent any rattling. It fit and looks perfect. Makes folding the clothes right there a snap, no more lost close between or brother units.

    I love this shelf! It fits perfectly on top of my washer and dryer. I have so much folding space now, and socks can’t slip in the cracks because of the side and back edge.
