5.0 out of 5 stars Very Informative
Reviewed in the United States on August 27, 2019
I have been reading Popular Science since I was in grade school. My father had a subscription since the 60’s. He suggested I read the magazine to “broaden” my horizons. I have been hooked ever since. The articles are timely and usually well written. It’s a great way to see what could be possible and explains the technologies available today

5.0 out of 5 stars perfect for kindle fire!!!!
Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2013
The magazine has all the pretty pictures and great articles as the print. It's an exact copy of the print but costs less than newsstand price. You can view page by page in verticals view, or two pages side by side in horizontal view. Don't freak out that the text is tiny, double tap on the article and it transforms it into book view, complete with photos!!! If you have the kindle I highly suggest getting the e-version

5.0 out of 5 stars Convenient and Affordable

I like having this magazine available on Kindle since it saves paper and I can downlaod it and read it anywhere. I am always interested in science and technology content. And it is so affordable compared to the magazine stand price!

3.0 out of 5 stars Do away with the Themes
Reviewed in the United States on December 21, 2019
The magazine is well written and the information is good. However, it appears they are using a thematic format in which each issue revolves around one common theme. It's a good idea, but I have found it less interesting to me than the more eclectic style of the past.

5.0 out of 5 stars Who doesn't love Pop-Sci?

I love Pop-Sci. Never a dull read and a lot of layout overhauls courtesy of new staffers.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cumbersom at best
Reviewed in the United States on January 21, 2014
This magazine, or at least the kindle version of it has not been "designed" for tablet reading. It's a chore to constantly be zooming in and out to read text or see entire graphics. There is zero interactivity. Even webpage links are dead. If you have a network connection, popularscience.com is far more conducive to tablet reading. PS would be better charging for the ability to download and view their website offline.
There are good magazine apps out there. This one has a ways to go to get there.
