This book even thou it was the second book in this series, there were many twists and turns, suspicion, betrayal, fear and violence that kept you involved and seeking a good outcome for the characters. Poor family dynamics, however strong and caring characters emerged from that environment. The love making was sizzling hot, passionate and descriptive. You will be on the edge of your seat, waiting for the next movement in this story. Overall outstanding and you will not be disappointed by selecting this series.

I thought the story was good, good angst and good hEa. Concerns: possible spoilers::::time was difficult to track I thought maybe a couple days or weeks pass but it could have been months based on events. Also, the false positive issue. She’s pregnant, is abducted, has a slight bump but post rescue doesn’t even try to get checked out even after she tells him ? Then she’s worried she’s not but takes a test and it’s negative but still doesn’t go to a doctor to confirm? Just seems odd. No mention of period or blood nothing. But if she was far enough along to have a bump how was it false positive. If there’s more to it and it’s a figment of her imagination due to the test some insight into her thinking process would be nice. If she miscarried you’d think it be mentioned. It was just confusing in that aspect.

Nicole Fox is Amazing!!!!

I always look forward to Nicole's new books! She's the only author id'd be a fangirl for. She's a fantastic writer and I love her stories. Nicole makes complex story scapes that I haven't seen in other books with similar themes and the female roles aren't weak and sniveling. This book has all the feels: family, love, heated relationship, loyalty.

I love how much hot sex she manages to put in one book and still have an awesome action packed mafia story with romance. This is the second part of a two part series,the author not only has a strong mafia storyline but captures the MMC very realistically from his moodiness to his need to relieve stress through sex
The up and down drama between the 2 main characters was exhausting
But worked well and kept you rooting for them. No cheating. HEA.

I love Nicole Fox and her books are usually brilliant. The chemistry between the two main characters was off the charts. I found the female lead to be annoying and childish. She grew up in the mafia but kept trying to undermine her husband and put herself in danger. The false pregnancy part was a total loss and her giving him the ultimatum to choose her the mafia was senseless. The story dragged too much. First book was definitely better

I read this second book in a series Bratva Romance because I was offered a new Nicole Fox book and I said, “Sure, why not?” Then I was stuck with this violent drama where the main characters kept the back and forth of being terribly in love and not trusting the other because they were raised Bratva and life taught them that no one was to be trusted.

This wasn’t my thing, but I needed to kill time while. Three star smut.
