This book is great for any Taylor Swift fan. So many song references! I caught myself laughing out loud to certain parts - especially with the chicken and the window (if you know, you know)!

If you watch these 3 people grow up together through college years that is. They make a pact the men do Early off And it comes to bite them back 15 15 years. You see the struggle they go through the ups and downs And it was surprised at 1st Camel but it was Full Full under understandable. The characters were Different personalities Different personalities that drew you to each different different character. The girl was a quirky fun loving an Unorganized person. The men were different as day and night And you could see why she liked each and each of them.

I appreciate a good ol' friends-to-lovers storyline and was pleasantly surprised that this didn't follow the usual, worn-out tropes for 75% of the book. It was sweet and funny...and kind of went in a downward spiral towards the end.
Can someone please, PLEASE find more creative ways to add "turmoil" that tests a budding relationship, besides a ridiculous lack of communication and gross assumptions that always leads to a melodramatic response?? I KNOW we can do better!

Slightly silly, very heart-fluttering intense, closed door, heart-wrenching emotional ride with dashes of laughter. Gosh. One of my faves. What a fake-romance story that delivered from the first chapter! Fast paced and didn’t dwell on uncovering every stone or emotion, which was refreshing! Well told story.

It’s Complicated is a sweet and hilarious fake-dating/friends-to-lovers/love-triangle romance novel between Lori, Aiden and Jace, who have been best friends since college. Lori has liked Aiden ever since they first met, but has never admitted it to him, not has her interests been reciprocated by him. Her only confidant on the matter was Jace, who in turn has always been in love with her.

With Aiden getting married to another woman, Lori is devastated and has gotten Jace’s help in fake dating her to make Aiden jealous. But she’s having second thoughts and is suddenly having this new attraction to Jace. Lori is seeing him in a new light and is considering the possibility of them becoming more.

I couldn’t help but gush and feel swept off my feet with Lori and Jace’s romance. Their growing romantic relationship is so sweet despite being complete opposites, with Lori being used to an organized chaos and Jace being a neat freak, and everything else in-between. I enjoyed Jace being so sweet and caring with Lori, even knowing how much she liked Aiden, he’s still considering her overall happiness over his own (at a certain degree because of the pact he had with Aiden).

The conflict between Lori and Jace felt prolonged though, and the ending felt quite rushed (only because I wanted more of them!), but a fitting one to their romance.

Must be nice to have a guy fall completely in love with you and pine for you, right? Since love is never easy, we get to enjoy all the awkward moments and backstories that lead Lola and Jace to finally getting their happily ever after.

Was 5-star until Jace became too pathetic: wouldn't talk to Lori about what he thought he saw. Then the story became overly sappy. All in all though I enjoyed the story.

Lori & Aiden & Jace have been BFFs since college, now doctors and partners in their own practice. Since college Lori has been in love (secretly) with Aiden. Jace secretly loves Lori. They're all clueless except Jace who knows Lori's feelings because he's become her confidant causing him much internal anguish. Aiden becomes engaged to Kirsten. Angst and humor ensue.
