    to get this program to work you have to remove from computer and reinstall each time

    This is a really good kids art program, on the level of Kid Pix. I installed it on a machine running Windows 7 Premium with no trouble at all. It does not require the CD to be installed to play, a real plus with kids (at least with mine, who just might use it as a Frisbee). There are lots of different activities beyond the drawing program (which is very good by itself). A child not familiar with computers would probably find all the different features and menus confusing. I'd suggest starting with something more basic. Kids do adapt quickly and my kids (3 & 4) seem to enjoy searching through the program for new things to try.

    This is one of the better kids software purchases I have made. I highly recommend it.

    I first bought Magic Artist for my 4 year old grand niece 2 years ago and she spent many hours creating and having fun when visiting. Bought this new one and was just as pleased. Now 6, she enjoyed the more enhanced projects and drawing tools with Magic Artist Deluxe. In these days of fast paced computer games and faster boredom burn-out it's nice to find a product that keeps a child engaged and creating for years.

    Entertains children for hours navigating the scenes & moving features.Excellent for big kids to manipulate photos.Face too fat;prefer mirror image? Well, cheat with 1 click.Very little space on hard drive & inexpensive to purchase.

    I've purchased several of these in the past and each child loves it! It was ordered late yet arrived in time for Christmas.
