Outstanding customer service from Newair!

Our 46 bottle Newair wine cooler did not consistently hold the proper set temperature. The actual temperature was always 5-10 degrees different than the setting. I called the 800 number, with some trepidation, as some indicated they had a poor customer service experience. The representative, Laurellee, provided excellent service. Together we tried to trouble shoot the cooler, but with no success. Laurellee advised me that there should be only a little difference between the setting and the actual cooler temperature. She determined that the cooler was faulty and ordered an immediate replacement, which arrived in about 3-4 days! The new wine cooler works perfectly! And, Laurellee called to make sure everything was working. My experience thus far has been excellent and wonderful customer service via both phone and email. Emails and phone calls answered very promptly. Highly recommend the cooler and customer service!

I'm perfectly happy with this product. Usually you're supposed to leave it standing, unplugged overnight to be sure the product works properly. I only left it for 8 hours and it works fine. I still recommend 24 hours in case the product was on its side a lot during shipping. I remember the manufacturer recommending something way too low like 2 hours.

Also, I found that the inside lining is subject to damage if you don't open the door all the way when pulling out drawers. It doesn't have any damage if you know this ahead of time. Less minor, you may need to lift a drawer to pull it out, but it's a small inconvenience compared to how well the product performs and how good it looks.

It does take half a day to get back to temperature if I leave it open for 10 minutes, but it never malfunctions in any way. I've had it for about a year now. I fill it full of red and white wine, and use the lowest temperature options. I love the black exterior and blue lighting, as well as the temperature the wine comes out as.

I would highly recommend this product.

Temperatures not accurate- customer service lacking.

Purchased this almost a year ago. I never verified the temperature when I first received it, and the temperatures always showed the same as the set point for both zones. however about a month ago, I noticed the temps in zone two were showing higher than the setting. Zone one is set to 40f, the unit shows it’s 40f but through 2 different verifications the temp is actually 56f. So I sent a note to customer service. They got back to me with a lot of questions and wanted verification and for me to basically troubleshoot the issue for them. I happen to have a thermoworks set up that can monitor 4 probes at once. I also used a Thermoworks IR temp reader and both methods verified the temps were off significantly. I sent that back with pictures to CS and after a couple follow ups asking for a reply they finally replied with even more questions and asked me to set the temp in both zones to the lowest setting. I set the zones as requested and re-verified with the same results.
After the first two interactions, I have had to follow up with more than one request for a response each time. At this point It seems like stall tactics to push me past my one year warranty date. When I ordered this, I was in the middle of building my house and had the cabinet made specifically to fit this unit. It has only been in service for 7 months.
This was not a cheap unit and I purchased it expecting a higher quality and service. At this point I am very disappointed and would not recommend this unit - especially at this price point.

I ordered this NewAir wine fridge (NWC046BS00) through Amazon, rather than direct. I replaced another wine fridge from a different manufacturer, which was 10+ years old. Delivery came in 2 days and the driver+1 carried the unit into the foyer through the front door. Except for the styrofoam pebbles lol, packing was excellent and NO visible damage to the box, nor the fridge. I did let the unit sit indoors for about 4 hours (2 hours recommended) before plugging-in the fridge. The unit is extremely quiet, even when the compressor is running. It may help too, that it sits on carpeting. Leveling was a piece of cake. Within about a day, the fridge reached my temperature settings and the wine was chilled. The electronic display is easy to read/understand and the blue lighting has off/high/low settings. The black stainless and the triple-pane glass (tinted, I think) make this unit look even better, IMO. I do get about 40 wine bottles inside and I have a mix of wines and bottle shapes. The Riesling bottles (13" and narrow) fit the best-I could get 46 bottles of Riesling in this fridge. The wider bottles limit the total. I also have some water bottles on bottom. All in all, I am extremely pleased!!!!!

Stopped working at the one-year mark

Beautiful wine refrigerator and I loved it until it suddenly stopped working/cooling right around the one-year mark. I still haven't resolved getting it fixed or replaced as I have to deal with the manufacturer directly which requires some extra effort and time. Hoping they resolve it soon and either fix/replace the compressor or replace the refrigerator with a new one. I can update my review once that occurs.
