5.0 out of 5 stars Bubbly-fun from A-Z, red to blue, farm to zoo, 1 to 2...

This app is AMAZING and fun even on the homescreen! Who doesn't love bubbles? This app is more than just attractive, though- it is highly educational and the amount of topics it covers is HUGE!! Upper and lowercase letters, numbers, colors, shapes, toys, farm and zoo animals, fruits, and vegetables all have their own activities. There is TONS of content here and it is sure to keep your little one busy for a long time. It is a level of quality I have grown to expect with 22Learn's apps, as they are grounded in educational research and proven methods. I love using them with my students (kids LOVE technology and think they're playing when they're actually learning) and they are all-around excellent. BubbleSchool is so comprehensive and bubbly-fun that I don't know where to begin!

Each of the categories I listed above (they are in the app description, also) contains 3 activities- Let's Learn, Let's Play, and Bubble Pop. 'Let's Learn' is a great feature of this app, as it gives players a mini-lesson on the concept selected. Each little lesson takes one thing from the topic (so, one letter, number, animal, color, etc.), displays it in writing, provides a picture, and says the name of the current item out loud. Items can be scrolled through using arrows on the left and right of the screen. This is perfect for children to feel 'in control' and move along at their own pace. Each picture provided is placed in a bubble that prompts a friendly voice to say what's in it when popped. Children will love the satisfying bubble "pop!" followed by the professional voice overs in this app that teach them new words.

"Let's Play" invites children to test their skills in identifying the colors, animals, shapes etc. they learn in "Let's Learn". Players select a fun animal avatar to accompany them on their journey. The game then vocally prompts the user to "pop the color/shape/animal" and points are awarded as the correct bubbles are popped. The game levels begin with one bubble to select from and then adds more, increasing difficulty. The animal avatar, colorful, relaxing background, happy sun character, and even a round of applause between levels ensures players stay motivated and never feel frustrated. It is a truly kid-friendly app and wrong answers are a non-issue- the app simply encourages the player to try again. This type of environment is friendly for young learners and the bubbles are super fun!

The final mode, "Bubble Pop" is a free-play mode where players can just enjoy the best part- popping away! As each bubble is popped, a friendly, professional voice says the name of the object that was popped. This is great for reinforcing the names of objects that the player just learned. By hearing it repeatedly, more connections are built in the brain and memorization occurs. Of course, that is clearly secondary to the tremendous fun the bubble popping and bright, engaging environments provide ;)

Users can even check and beat high scores from the main menu. This provides tremendous re-playability and lets players and caregivers track progress in a visual way. Scores can easily be erased if need be through this menu as well. The settings menu allows music, hints, and sound effects to be toggled on and off. Users can also select whether objects appear in random or alphabetical order and letter casing. Customization is great here, and it allows the app to adjust to various learning levels and paces.

The low price on this one is worth it JUST for the fun bubble-popping action, but the inclusion of professional voice overs, super cute illustrations, and tons of new words to learn make this app a winner. It is the most fun-and most comprehensive- general preschool learning app I have encountered. You'll be hard pressed to find another quality app that includes all your child's favorites, as this one does so beautifully!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is exactly what I needed!

This app is absolutely perfect. My children cannot get enough of it. They are always asking to play on my phone, just to use this app. It is very addicting, in the very best way possible. This app encourages learning, while allowing it to be fun. My kids do not even realize they are learning, because it all just seems like games to them. However, I can tell it's working. They love showing off what they know to me. And luckily, it also fits right into my busy schedule. My kids can play on it in the car, at the grocery store, or anywhere else when I'm preoccupied.

This app is also very well developed. The 22learn company definitely knows how to properly develop apps. This app has obviously had a lot of attention paid to it in order to make it very kid friendly. It is super easy to use, very colorful, has fun sounds, and is just all around completely ideal for younger children.

I highly recommend this app to every parent. It does exactly what is advertised, so you know you can trust this company. I can honestly not say enough good things about it. It has made such an impact on mine and my children's lives!

My 2 year old enjoys this app... I understand it's not about aesthetics all the time and the repetitive lessons are valuable to a child's learning... the app is great... I purchased the rest of the program and when yu choose the animal pal yu would like to be, it's still picks a different animal for yu. I don't know if it's trying to teach yu about not getting yur way all the time... I'm ok with that but wish the animals could be a little more updated. The woman's voice is very pleasant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Little App Good For All Kids
Reviewed in the United States on October 25, 2013
This app is one of the best I have downloaded I got the free version first and my little girl enjoyed it so much I had to get this paid version. Like I said in my review of the free app the creator has got the balance between learning and having fun absolutely perfect. My little girl who is 5 cannot put this app down she play's it for hours at a time. IV downloaded a lot of app from amazon and this is by far the best simply because it is very easy to use and the learning aspect of the app is brilliant. This version has a lot more than the free app do's .The flash card and the learning to count and read part of the app is very educational and will have any child wanting to play more of the app. I will definitely be looking out for more app from this creator because they put a whole new spin on learning and having fun. All in all this app is a must download it will keep you child occupied for hours and they are learning while doing it. My little girl has already got a few of her friends into the app and I've been speaking to their parents and they have nothing but good things to say about it. Would like to thank the creator again for a truly fantastic app.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not that great. Son was bored quickly

Not that great. My son got bored quickly. All the games seem very similar and he got burnt out pretty quickly. He does like the animals but could use a little more fun.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic app for Pre-schoolers!

Just as expected, the upgrade was worthwhile! This app is great at helping youngsters learn their ABCs and practice other skills like matching, identifying the correct shape or animal. I love that there 3 modes to try out the skills in different ways. First there are mini lessons so your child can really focus on getting that new shape, color, etc. down. Then there are activities where they can practice using these lessons. If they get the answer wrong, it's always a small nudge instead of a dreadful buzzer or "X" like on some other games. There is only encouragement to try again and then once they get the right answers it's exciting. I love the colorful graphics and use of animals and objects your child will recognize from the zoo and play time at home. The animation is really well done and always loads very quickly. Finally the bubble pop is cute and less focused, but is a great reinforcement to the lessons since your child is given the name of the items as they pop them. Overall a fantastic app! Great job Abbey Monkey, keep these apps coming!
