    We buy one to two new pool thermometers every year. I'm not sure why they don't last, maybe it is the AZ summer heat? This little turtle is cute, I guess. He has kind of a meh expression. The thermometer works fine, giving us accurate pool temps and the turtle keeps it afloat. It is somewhat cute, and it works, and it didn't cost too much since we regularly replace them.

    Cute pool thermometer, matches a chlorine float I purchased separately. Price was good, delivered fast. Its been in the pool for a few months now, temperature seems accurate and there is no water or condensation in it.

    Love my little turtle buddy. Gives accurate temps in my polar plunge tub. Easy to read. The digital ones were terrible.

    After just 3 months, algae buildup inside the unit made the temperature unreadable...and it can't be cleaned. Find something else for that purpose.
