I wanted to do a Valentine's 'eve'nic and the umbrella worked out perfectly!!!! You need a heavy umbrella base from your local hardware store to hold it upright, but that was expected. The solar panel has to be plugged into the top of the umbrella before setup, and it fastened to the top flush with no hassle. The crank worked fine, and I even purchased a LED umbrella light due to some comments saying the lights were dim. Thing is as long as it's pitch black it WILL light the surface and you can instantly tell the difference. Super satisfied with this buy. It made my Valentines super special.

Easy to assemble, not too heavy to do alone, sturdy though- usual wiggle in high winds but no too light. Easy to open, close and tilt- no Hercules strength needed, I have arthritis so this is A-big one for me. The lights inside have an on/off switch! The little led lights are not just automatically on all the time. At night, when they’re on, they are bright- probably not good for eyes but bright enough to read by. Definitely recommend

Perfect over a 42” round table. Easy to assemble and the LED lights are great. They’re solar but also battery which is included. Switch is on the pole so you can have them on or off. The tan is really more a light brown. Use caution when unpacking - the solar panel is included packed in Styrofoam at the top of the umbrella - don't throw it out by mistake.
