Amazing little PC

I'm running Channels DVR service as an over the air DVR for my whole house. I didn't want to run Channels off my desktop as I'd rather not leave my power hungry desktop running 24/7. I considered getting a Raspberry Pi, but this seemed cheaper and more powerful. This N95 based Beelink Mini PC perfectly fit the bill. Running at most 25 watts I'm not as concerned about it running 24/7 and the quad core processor has no problem handling the Channels DVR software and easily powers through commercial detection. It's also quiet, runs fairly cool, and came with Windows 11 pre-installed. I'm running this headless and just remote in when needed. For my use 8G of RAM and the 256GB SSD are good enough as I was able to easily add a 2.5" drive for video storage. This would also work well for a home theater setup as it can be mounted behind the TV and it's so small you could even take it with you when you travel.
With dual 4K HDMI, four USB3.2 ports, gigabit Lan, WiFi, and Bluetooth, this is also attractive as a desktop replacement for light usage such as email, web browsing, and word processing. When it came to installing Windows updates, it really ground to a halt and took a long time to install, so I'm not sure how well it would work for more than basic tasks.

Using this at my customer as a VPN server. Comes built with Windows 11 pro which is amazing. Price is amazing. Performance for what I am doing is fine. Also using it to backup my customers NAS data to the cloud. Time will tell how well this thing does long term. But man, I am really impressed so far. I have had this for about two weeks. No issues.

I didn't expect to like this as much as I do but this Beelink computer is just awesome. I have it hooked up to my tv and I use the Logitech k400 keyboard and now I don't need any type of streaming stick. All my apps are right here. Sometimes I watch a show on half the screen while I surf the web on the other. I can even play some simple steam games mostly lego. Now my wife and I can plan trips, view photos, and surf the web as well as watch our favorite shows. Super fast and super convenient. Great price too. Excellent purchase

A Little Noisy

The 4 not 5 stars is that it is somewhat noisy. As it replaced an old and more powerful Intel NUC for office use, this is not a problem for me but might be for you. It does not have the sophisticated BIOS of a NUC if that matters. I use it for patent drawings and text and for internet and email work. It is fast and reliable. It is also one third the price of the older NUC it replaced. It has adequate I/O, and the embedded Windows 11 is the PRO version. Good bang for buck for serious work.

A very good mini-pc for the cost

I use this little mini-PC as a little server for various applications. I have a large external HDD hooked up via USB3.0 for large storage space. I'm streaming media off of it as well as a few applications that need to stay running. I have had zero issues in any way and it's working great.

PROS:
-These PCs come with Windows pre-installed, so it's completely "turn-key" to get setup.
-There are plenty of I/O ports for USB, ethernet, HDMI, etc. for its size.
-It has a little fan for cooling that seems to work well and is very quiet.
-It's very inexpensive, but it is not junk from a quality perspective.
-16GB of RAM is plenty.

CONS:
-I knew it going into it, but the particular model I got with the N100 processor is great for what I need, but it's quite weak in the realm of things. Obviously these are meant for heavy processing. I think it's clear, but I would not consider it usable for any real gaming.

I bought two of these. I deleted the free copy of Windows and installed MX-Linux 23.2 Xfce. After all updates were applied, the Bluetooth still is not yet supported but everything else is working just fine. I expect Bluetooth support will come along eventually as Intel gets around to supplying drivers for an updated kernel. One of these computers is my whole-house music player and the other puts my Davis weather station on the internet. These little guys are over-powered for their assigned task but the quality is great and the price is right!

Used this as a virtualization host for a few old embroidery machines that need old OSes for their software. Wiped it entirely because I have zero trust of the software included, started fresh.

Works pretty well for that, borderline on the CPU power, if you're going to virtualize Win7+ you might want to setup up on the hardware a bit.

Only downside I've seen is that the USB output isn't enough to run a USB-only CD/DVD player. It would spin up a disk and start to read and then kill power out. Luckily I had an old unit with an external power supply that worked great. Keep that in mind if you need this to run one of these new cheap USB CD/DVD players.
