Very nice, solid construction. My only gripe is that I wish the slot for the beard was a little bigger so that you could stick the meaty end into the shell casing. Looks a little weird having the white cartilage stuff hanging out.

Overall really happy with how it came out. I cut my feet a little too short and they wouldn’t sit in the slot without hiding the spurs.. so I modified it by tying some fishing string to each leg and hanging them that way.

This is well worth the $108 cost!!! This thing is amazing!! A trophy tom, just like any other animal or bird trophy, deserves a quality mount... I admit that I wondered if I had wasted money when ordering but upon receipt of the plaque, there was no question that it was money well spent!! My Wyoming Merriam came with a 9.25" beard and was a special hunt. This plaque does it justice!! And the personalization adds another layer of 'special' to the plaque... Do not hesitate to buy this!!

My son got his first turkey and wanted something special to display it. This came out great! Took some time to arrive, but everything needed time to dry out before it could be displayed anyway.
