This will be one of those little items that will be handed down over the decades, as it's so useful and well made. It has that real leather smell, with antique brass hardware. The snaps are secure and require a perfect amount of force to snap and unsnap (some snaps require too much force which ends up compromising the structural integrity of the snap's connection to the fabric to which it's attached, while others don't require enough and easily come undone). Although I do not intend to use this for holding a tape measure, I will attach this to my back packs and bags to hang flashlights, pens, protective eyewear or sunglasses, etc. from. Any smaller item with a clip can easily be secured to this, so the only limit is one's imagination. I highly recommend this product!

This handmade leather tool clip holder, is really nice. It is genuine leather and well made too with heavy duty snaps and rivets. I own a lot of heavy knives and multi tools and I hate just clipping one of my tools or knives on the smooth soft material of something like a belt or pants and having my knife or tool slowly slide off and fall and me lose it somewhere. This provides a metal clipping point so that it stays there. And best of all you can put anything on it from sunglasses to your favorite pen you always use. I really like this and look forward to using it a lot for my tools and knives!! It is work the price of it to have a solid place to clip stuff to. Great quality product!

This is really a cool piece. If you are looking for an interesting thing to add to a renaissance cosplay, this would hold everything from its intended to sunglasses. It's well made, and actually, really leather.

It's currently $13.50, which is a very reasonable price for this. My son is a mechanical engineer, and I know he goes on some site visits - this might end up in his Christmas stocking. He also goes to renaissance fairs and, when this isn't on the job, holding his tape measure, this could be a period piece, adding some funky "flair." LOL

I recommend it. In the ad, it shows holding sunglasses. I love a multipurpose item!

I am always losing tape measures - often because I c't clip them on a good belt or pants. This solves the problem and looks good enough to year all of the time.

My husband always sets his tape measure down then it has to look for it, unless he's wearing a nail pouch. But often he is just using a pencil, a level, and the tape measure and then he keeps setting down the tape measure and forgets where it is. This works well, it's easy to use. It fits his tape measure. The snaps are secure, the leather is thick, and it's attractive in a retro kind of way.
Not that it's something I'm going to have near my nose, but I love the natural leather scent of this item. Fits a 2" belt. Made in China.

This thing has been saving my Carhartts on the job site. I hang my drill or impact from my pocket normally and the pockets start wearing out in about 6 months. It's easy to blindly hook your drill onto this. It looks decent as well. The buttons hook securely and it fits work sized belts.

I got this for my husband who wears his tape measure on this work pants pocket. He destroys his work pants prematurely like this.

This leather holder is rugged and well made. It is real leather. The sturdy metal clip easily holds a large Fat Max and seems like it will hold up very well under daily use. The price seems fair and the item is well made.

This belt clip is made of real leather. The snaps are good quality. Rivets and tape holster are good quality steel. It is very nice looking. It would be really good for salesmen, estimators, etc., who have to carry a measuring tape. It is easy to put on and off and comfortable enough to wear all day. It holds firmly and doesn’t come unsnapped accidentally. I would definitely buy this product again and the price is very reasonable for the quality. Would make a great gift. Highly recommend.
