5.0 out of 5 stars Great for tall people with back problems!

This device has been a lifesaver so far. I'm 6'8" tall and weed eating is always a task I don't enjoy. This handle has been excellent. I am able to stand up straight while using the trimmer and that makes it so much more pleasant to use. It is extremely light weight, but it appears durable. Very easy to install and I feel an inexpensive option. I wouldn't think it would be good for a professional who uses their equipment all day every day. However, for the once or twice a week homeowner, this fits the bill perfectly. It comes with two different size gaskets to fit different shaft widths. It fits my Ryobi 40 volt trimmer like a glove. I'm going to purchase a second one for my Stihl brush cutter as well.

Price is awesome, it’s pretty solid but the grip will easily come unglued. Wrap with some electrical tape and slip the grip back on fixes the problem. If you need to adjust this quickly for different people it’s probably not for you. It adjusts with an Allen wrench and takes some time. Over all you can beat the price and it actually works.

I love the Darwin’s grip but couldn’t afford one so I got this. It’s not nearly as strong but I think if I’m careful with it it’ll get the job done. I’ve used it once and it did well. The two short legs should be longer. I had to twist it to the left a little to make up for the short legs. I had to add a small piece of rubber to the inside of the connecting piece to make it work. If you’ve got the money get a real Darwin’s grip. They are way better but if you’re a cheapskate like me this is ok.

3.0 out of 5 stars Metal is on the cheaper side, did not fit my trimmer's shaft

i was a little concerned that it might break once i put it on my 20lb rubber broom attachment for my string trimmer power head, but it has held up fine. Hopefully it will continue to.

The fit was not right, with either of the sizes that it comes with. It was still too loose. I ended up putting duct tape around the pole a few times to get it to fit without moving all around. I saw that idea on another review on here, and you can barely tell by looking at it.

my trimmer (Milwaukee) pole is the same diameter as the rubber broom pole, since it has various attachments. so if you are getting it for Milwaukee OPE, duct tape on the pole before the rubber gasket thing works great. It is super light, aluminum i think? a little stiff while putting it together, but that's a good thing when it's in use. I haven't tried another brand, so I'm not sure if the issues i described are par for the course or not. Still pretty happy with how much $ i paid, after the slight modifications.

By nature the normal "stock" hold, forces you to bend over slightly. I have a one acre lot with four structures so a lot of trimming is required. My back always hurt when I was done. I hated it. This attachment allows you to stand upright and hold it securely. I have two for a 18 and 40 volt trimmer. I am going to buy a third for an edger too. I highly recommend it. While I still am not a fan of trimming, this makes it much more tolerable.

1.0 out of 5 stars SHOULD'VE LISTENED TO THE REVIEW

I tried to form my own opinion and not give in to the few negative reviews. However, this product was exactly as described in the review.

I attempted to attached it but it spun around the shaft of my echo weed eater. Neither rugged gasket/spacer worked. Once the screw came lose from the main attachment from the shaft, there was no getting it back in.

During setup I found the perfect spot that should’ve worked properly but I was unable to get the piece secured that came with it and should’ve securely attached to the shaft. It just freely spun around.

It WILL NOT fit if you try and double up both rubber pieces to fit around the shaft.
