What a cute idea for a splash pad. I didn't want the normal tv characters or animal prints, and who doesn't like watermelon? It's colorful, quality vinyl, and has a great border that holds a bit of splash water without causing little feet to trip over it! Perfect for a summer cool down!

It is extremely thin!!! And there isn't much pressure because the nozzle leaks badly. Spray holes only pray maybe 4 inches, no matter how much water is turned on. Not worth it.

Our kids had fun with it but the pictures show the water spraying like 4’ high, it realistically shot up 1.5-2’ .. so they still had fun but the pics were a bit misleading

I hooked the hose up & the area where the hose connector connects to the plastic had a huge tear in it. It would be great if it wasn’t broken. I didn’t even get one use out of it.

Meh... Definitely not as fun as real watermelon

Like other reviewers mentioned, right out of the box this thing has a horrible smell. Stings the nostrils. Don't open it inside the house unless you want your house to smell like a gas station. Open it and unfold it outside. It is also coated in a powdery substance, maybe corn starch, to keep it from sticking to itself. There are no instructions on the box or in the box but they're not really needed. All you do is hook up the hose and you're ready to go. It's described as being made of a thick material. I would disagree. Seemed thin to me and I feel like any sharp stick or rock in the yard will poke right through it. I had to laugh at the pictures in the description showing it shooting water like 4 or 5 feet in the air. Yeah right. With the hose on full blast it only came up about 6 or 8 inches. Sad. I would definitely not spend money on this. I gave it a couple stars since my toddler did have some fun and was able to keep cool on a very hot day. We may use it again but I don't think it will last long.
