Would prefer a Latin Mass version, but this is close to the liturgy in most Catholic Churches today. Easy to read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must have for Latin Liturgy devotees

Update: This app does require an active Internet connection. Contrary to original review you cannot load up the liturgy for the day, then go to Mass and have it remain loaded. Mea culpa mea maxima culpa.

Original review: This app is great for Traditional Latin Mass folks. It gives you everything in-line for the day. Caveat is (so far) I have noticed that the Sunday Preface is missing, but loaded for weekdays. I have only been using the app for a short time (~ 2 weeks) and always for the Breviary (I have not used it at Mass yet). The Breviary gives you everything in-line too and all the hours are present (including the minor ones). Antiphons Psalms for the day, Canticles, Hymns and prayers are all provided. Latin on the left side and English (or your language preference) on the right side. All nicely formatted and blocked so that the Latin is always accessabile so you can easily incorporate it if desired. There also are choices for different rubrics going back to the Council of Trent (but I haven't explored that much). There is even a selection for loading according to the new calendar (1960 Rubrics), so you can be in sync with the Ordinary Form if you want. This can be helpful if you are like me and keep one foot in the Ordinary Form and one in the Extraordinary. I can't say enough about this app. I am very impressed. The only down that I have seen is it does not support pinch-zoom, but you can go into options and set font and style (including color) to your heart's content. Once set, the app will restore your settings each time. Also be aware that you need an active wifi connection to load, so unless your parish has wifi you won't be able to use at Mass.

If you like the Latin Mass get this app and the Breviary is a great bonus. If you don't regularly pray the Breviary, this is a great opportunity to explore it. Be aware that some of the Psalm translations may be a bit clumsy, but you'll get used to it. You should have a decent Catholic Bilble app on your device anyway, like The Ignatius Bible, so you can look them up there if need be.

The Mass streaming I have not tried, but can't say it is that important to me. If you are homebound or don't have easy access to an Etraordinary Form liturgy, this will be more important for you.

Get this app. (Did I say that already?) You won't be disappointed. (Well maybe a little, as I now am, due to the need for constant internet access.)

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Limited for the Busy Catholic
Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2017
There is only one Mass that is available and if one is not able to tend to a clock with their schedule, all you have is a note that the Mass is not being said at this time. It is not a daily Mass by any means. in that respect, the information prior to purchasing this should be made clear: there is only a limited, very limited viewing time. My father had one that was a daily Mass on his device and it was available 3-4 times a day (same Mass and homily) but he was in the last stages of cancer and he found great peace with the extended times. I could probably make it sooner to my parish than the limitation of this app.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great resource but needs improvement

App is good but lacks two features: the ability to download the days office and propers and pinch and zoom. You have to be connected to WiFi and most chapels for good reasons don't have it. It should let you download the Propers of the day. I would like the ability to travel without carrying Nissan and office book but this won't solve that as it is WiFi dependent.

Very nice product. Works as expected. Would recommend it to any Catholic. It is a good guide to follow during Mass and provides help during my week.

3.0 out of 5 stars Better than nothing
Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2015
Better than nothing, but poorly organized and designed, with typos at various points in the on-device saved texts (such as the De Benedictionibus). It also just loads a webpage of the missal for the day, which can work on your tablet when you don't have a missal handy, but is a pain because it downloads nothing - you have to be actively connected to the web to load it, although it stays up for a while afterward.
