This computer monitor is amazing. Its cheaper than any screen I could find locally. Cheaper than Costco, Sam’s Club, or Best Buy.

Before buying this monitor I spent days reading up on screens. Everyone is dumping on full HD 1080 screens. Saying you need at least 4K, 2K, or at least 1440 for any screen over 24.” Saying it would cause eye strain, and you could see individual pixels. What are they talking about!? We used screens 480, 720 screens forever and celebrated when we got 1080.

I use this for looking at blueprints and love the fact that it is large, and can make reading whole plans easy to see. And if i need to zoom on, that makes it even easier to see.

This is a nice monitor and the price makes it a VERY good deal. I am not using it for gaming but for cad work. It gives me crisp and clean images and that is exactly what i needed. So for me It works very well and I would probably get a second one in the near future. Its nice for price.

I bought this for my 81 year old mom who has bad eyes. She said it’s clearer than watching the tv. The colors are vibrant. The stand was a little tricky to put together. I never really figured out where the screws went so I didn’t use them! I had trouble getting the speakers to work but called technical support and found out I needed a VGA audio cable. They couldn’t have been more helpful. I absolutely recommend this monitor. You won’t be disappointed!!!

This is really a nice monitor. I should give it a 5. So why a 1 star? If you're like me I always check the 1 star reviews first.

When I went searching for a monitor I clicked the checkbox for over 26 inch screen and also clicked on 'Screen Surface = Matte" and this monitor (VA3209M) showed in the results. So I bought it. I set it up and the screen was very glossy. I work in an office type of environment with lots of ambient light. And everything behind me was reflected in the monitor. Highly distracting. I packed it back up and returned it after 2 minutes of use.

The colors were very nice, no dead pixels, but dang it was like a mirror reflecting everything behind me. If you work in a dark environment it would be great. But that's not me.

If you want a matte screen look for a certain brand which starts with an A and is advertised as 'Eye Care' - they are much much easier on your eyes. I'm a programmer not a gamer and a Matte screen is a must. Also watch out for monitors with 'Anti Glare' as they seem to have a coating to reduce glare. But the screen surface itself is not 'Matte'. It has a coating which while it helps it's not the same.

I wonder if Amazon includes items you'd previously looked at, such as the ViewSonic, but then when you filter results it still shows previous searches even if it does not match the filter? Amazon was great. They refunded the monitor quick and I bought an A**S VP32A which was just what I wanted. It's very nice.

Another odd thing Amazon does is it appears that reviews include other models of the same brand. So the reviews may include several different models and not necessarily the one you're looking at.

Got this to go along with a new PC for my elderly father. Great bang for your buck. Looks great, easy to navigate buttons, easy to read everything for him. The built in speakers are serviceable, but they are not good.
