5.0 out of 5 stars Best Healing Ointment

Don't let the small size of this tube keep you from purchasing. They make a 1.5 oz size if you need a larger size. It's a powerhouse for healing so you don't need a lot. What I do is dispense a small amount and then use my finger in a circular motion to soften the product. That turns it into more of a cream which makes it go even further and makes application easier. I use it mostly on my face and it prevents any scarring or hyperpigmentation from bad reactions to products or when I overuse exfoliants and end up with burn type patches on my face. I also scratched my face twice badly with my nails taking off a sweater and when sleeping and it left no scar or mark. Work the product by spreading it and it will be easier to use. But it's worth it's weight in gold. The small tube makes it more affordable. Manuka honey is expensive because it's proven to work wound healing and beyond. This is medicinal quality. It needs to be thick to work for wounds.

So many good uses for this product and I love them all. Works so well on cuts and scrapes. I used this as a nurse and saw it work with good results on fragile skin.

We use this on burns and wounds. It is an amazing gel that feels good going on your skin and helps skin to heal from the inside out. No heavy scabs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works really well

I originally bought this for a sore that my 4yr old had from her life vest strap, it was like a “rug burn” but on her upper thigh. It wasn’t healing very fast so I bought this to put on it and covered it with a sterile gauze and paper tape. Within 2 days it was looking so much better. I also used it on myself when I had a blister from shoes and it helped it heal a lot faster than it normally would have.

3.0 out of 5 stars Really small bottle

I ordered the product to replace my empty one. I must have not noticed the size of the bottle because when they came a had a miniature trial size bottle that was not cheap.
Make sure you double check the size of what you are ordering!
The product itself was good, just really pricey.

5.0 out of 5 stars must have for small burns I
Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2024
I work in an environment where the restrooms employ grate heaters in small quarters. Slip of the mind = quick burn. You know the kind, not dangerous - but painful. Manuka honey (ointment or bandaid form) first quells the pain, then aids healing. I also use it frequently for my cuticles. Stops splitting & shredding from dryness caused by dishwashing, swimming, etc. This application can be messy (all ten fingers) so I do that at night. apply with a reserved wet wipe to clean finger bottoms, give a moment to absorb. I don't like to be without it, it really works. Older folks, or had a strip applied to tightly/worn too long will find this is amazing for "pressure" sores. I may not be using that term correctly, that's why so much description. I use KT tape frequently, I learned if I left it on too long I would have a bruise like sore area ? maybe I deprived that area of circulation ? I'm not a nurse - I know that applying Manuka honey to the area solved the problem. Wish the tube was larger. Good stuff Maynard !
