I am a big water bottle person as a very hydrated girlie. I had a okay quality Reduce sipper bottle for about a year before it started looking pretty rough. I researched this baby before buying as it was more of an investment and I'm glad I went with Owala! It has a spin-top and barely leaks (just out the straw, but what do you expect?) It's a gorgeous pink, easy to assemble and disassemble, easy to clean, and I've had no issues with mold (as I've had with other bottles that have lots of little parts). I've dropped it many times (no lead in this so no worries!!) and it's stood up better than my Hydroflask! I love the lip on the top to carry meds so I don't forget them and the thumb rest on the handle. It's a hardy bottle that keeps my ice frozen for 10+ hours. The downside is that you can't really use the sip lip all the way without taking the straw out, but I never need it. I'm not paid, I just really love this thing and wish more ppl knew!

I like the color and the look of the cup. It looks like any other name brand cups out there. But the quality is just as good and it’s worth the cost. Seriously why buy a Stanley cup? The lid and straw are great. It will keep your drink cold or warm for a long time. It’s not heavy too which is nice.

I absolutely love this cup. I have not tried the Stanley or any other one (except the big plastic one that has motivational words every hour; which was horrible because it did not keep the water cold, it sweats and got my desk all wet, it was worthless); so i really cannot compare; but this is perfect. It keeps my water cold all day and night (literally the next day the ice is still in the cup, filled to the top). It fits perfectly in my cup holder in my car, it does not leak and it is not overall heavy. I love the color. I chose this one bc it has the option of a sliding lid which i thought i would use all the time, but honestly I never use it. I only use the straw but its nice to have that as an option if I decide to drink coffee out of it; which I have not yet. I highly recommend.

Purchased three other brands of this style to find one that out performed the traditional Stanley cup. This one hands down is the best above them all.. long review but here goes!
1. The lid has two variations to drink out of, either the open sipping slot, or the straw. With or without the straw, the lid will leak through the straw hole IF it’s dumped on its side or turned upside down (if I accidentally dropped it) but compared to the others, it only dropped a few drops, not the entire drink. A+ for that..
2. The handle itself is styled with a slight groove in it, which allows for better handling while walking. I don’t have to grip the entire mug if I’ve got my hands full with work or gym stuff.
3. Lives up to its statement of keeping drinks cold.. I drink about 60 oz of water with ice a day and I add about half the cup capacity with ice. I usually add ice to it every other day. I left it alone with just ice for 24 hours, still had ice in it. Left it in my car filled with ice on a 70 degree day for 9 hours, still had ice in it.
4. Does not topple easily.. I did drop it once when I was rushing into work. Landed on the pavement next to my car.. no dents, not even a scratch.
6. Easy to clean, no hard to reach spots where mold might creep in. Hand washed every time without issues.
5. Less expensive than the Stanley, although I wish there were more available colors.. I still chose one that I did like and am glad I did.

I originally got my bf one as a valentines present. I love his so much I had to order one for myself. I needed a bigger water bottle that fit in my cup holder in my car anyways. I got the 40oz Owala with the straw and handle (Stanley dupe). I have always loved my hydroflask but it was way too bulky to carry around everywhere. I reach for my Owala everytime over all my other water bottles. It keeps ice water for a really long time and holds so much! As long as you aren’t tipping this upside down with the straw in it then it doesn’t leak! Also if you’re a sipper and not a straw person it has a sliding mouth piece, if you go that route it is leak proof. I can’t say enough good things about this cup 5 stars for sure!

Keeps Cold things cold and hot things hot.
how do it know??
I have had the other two major brands. for some reason they spilled easily and were hard to clean ,
and didn't keep things cold or hot long enough even though they advertised that as a feature
this triple wall cup keeps stuff the temperature you would like for much longer. I like not having to go refill the ice every 6 hours. some thoughts: It's heavy. the 40 oz is so nice but it's heavy. I like how easy it is to clean being able to get your hand down there. I like the lid. when you screw it on and push the tab. it doesn't leak. it comes with the straw but I don't like straws. it's opening is great. gulping works fine for me

I bought this cup at the behest of a coworker after seeing several reviews and then seeing that she owned an Owala. I own several other brand names but none compare to this one, I can honestly say it is my favorite! It is virtually spill proof (except for what comes out of the actual straw when turned completely upside down). Today I had it sitting on an ottoman and I accidentally knocked it off and onto the hardwood floor. The spillage was very very minimal, and only came from the straw itself. The only reason I am not giving it the entire 5 stars is that I would like to see prettier colors and when I knocked it off the ottoman the straw snapped in half. Again, really wonderful cup that is durable, virtually spill proof, and really does a good job keep hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold!
