Control all your Windows/MacOS computers with Alexa Voice Commands.

PC Switch for Alexa turns your Fire TV/Tablet into an Amazon Echo Smart Home Device
where you can control all your Windows/MacOS computers with Alexa Voice Commands. You can
turn on/off computers,monitors and launch/close Applications.

To getting started, download the PC Switch for Alexa Fire TV/Tablet client Setup from our website
https://www.dcm-works.net/downloads/(you will find the Client in the download section).
Install and configure the Client Setup on all your Windows/MacOS Computer which you want to
control. Then download and install the PC Switch for Fire TV/Tablet App from the App Store and
configure it and all the devices you want to control. Then do an Alexa Device
Discovery and you are ready to go. You can then say to your Amanzon Echo e.g.:

o "Alexa turn on computer" and Alexa sends an On-Message to the PC Switch for Alexa
Fire TV/Tablet App which then sends a Magical WakeOnLAN Packet to the selected computer
and switches them on via WakeOnLAN.
o "Alexa turn off computer" or "Alexa turn off computer kids" and Alexa sends an
Off-Message to the PC Switch for Alexa Fire TV/Tablet App which then sends an Computer-Off
signal to the PC Switch for Alexa Client which runs in the background and then
shutdowns the selected computer.
o "Alexa turn on/off monitor" and the PC Switch for Alexa Client switches the selected
computer monitor on or off.
o "Alexa turn on Word" or "Alexa turn off Word" and the PC Switch for Alexa Client
starts the defined Application Winword on the selected computer. If you want a
more convenient way to launch the Application you can use Alexa Routines to define
utterances which starts the selected Application. You can define e.g. Amazon Echo
to launch the Word Smart Home Device with the words "Alexa launch Winword" or
"Alexa close Winword". You can find Alexa Routines in you Amazon Echo Android App.
You can also launch Batch-files or Application-files like Winword-files.

is also a detailed documentation included which explains all steps to configure the
Applications properly.

As PC Switch for Alexa does not use slow cloud functions unlike other solutions, the
reaction time between saying an command and execution is very low, only a few milliseconds.

The App is multilingual in english and german. The App works with all from Amazon Alexa
supported languages like french, spanish or japanese, just enter your desired language.
