These water bottles are terrific. They are super sturdy and I love that you can gulp or sip! The lock makes a great handle for the littles! They are a heavy duty water bottle so I recommend to stick with 16oz size and smaller for little children. The straw is great and easy to clean. Ice stays cold all day!

We love owalas in this household! Have 3 now they are such great water bottles maintain your water super cold for a whole day and hold so much! They also are so cute with their colors and the straw is amazing I feel the pull is better than any other water bottle out there !

I bought this for the car. When I drive, it's not that easy to pick up a larger bottle and take a drink without taking my eyes off the road. This one has skinnier sides so the bottle is easier to handle. The carry handle covers the button you use to open and take a drink so there should be no spills. I love the Mando design and the stickers that come with the bottle. I did not like the yellow button, so I replaced it with a black one and changed out the gray seal on the inside of the lid for a black one to match the black boot. I am happier with the color combination but would love to replace the blue handle with a black one. The bottle will hold ice all day and it was great while we were traveling. I filled it with water and drank it all day except for the times that we stopped to grab something. I liked that I could close the lid and put it in the back seat so I could use my cupholder and it did not leak. Overall, this is a great water bottle and I am happy with my purchase.

Bought this after a whole lot of research on good water bottles, since mine was hard to clean and the plastic straw was starting to yellow. I liked the concept behind this, having the option to use the straw or drink normally without needing to remove the straw or rotate something etc.

In practice, it works surprisingly well, solving an issue I never thought I had. Admittedly, I mostly use the straw, but the times I do want to throw it back I can, and it doesn't throw a surge of water at my face like I feared it might.

Another nice thing about this bottle is the ease of cleaning. Since the straw is fixed to the lid, there's no hinge or flip part that can get gunked up, and it's as easy as running a straw cleaner through the interior. The rest of the lid is easy to clean with a sponge or towel. I largely use it for water, and on rare occasion coffee without any sweetener, so I'm not sure if it'd be more annoying with sugary drinks, but I'd think washing with hot water would keep that just as easy, though you might get buildup in places.

While this is obviously a particular color scheme, there are a lot out there to choose from, though they rarely fall into a single color aside from white or black. I like the variety and unique schemes, though being able to customize it would be really cool.

Overall it's a solid bottle, the straw/sip option works nicely, easy to clean, and looks/feels premium.

This was the very first Owala bottle that I bought and after months of use, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. I bought this water bottle because I tend to collect water bottles, and am always looking for the "new" thing. I bought this after seeing that Owala offered two methods of drinking, either with a straw or by gulping like any water bottle that doesn't offer the use of a straw. Not only this, but it has a button lid, where the lid also locks. I have horrible OCD and am constantly worried about the contamination of my lids and where I put my mouth, so the fact the lid covers the lip of where you drink out of is amazing. It also provides a lock, that doubles as a carrying handle, which is genius. The Owala bottles are easy to clean, being able to fit your hand in them and also any bottle brush due to the uniform size. The bottle keeps drinks cold, and even ice! I use this bottle as a nightstand bottle overnight constantly, and wake up to ice still in the bottle the next morning and even a day later. My only complaint with the bottle is how easy to scratch it (even with stickers covering it for protection and an official Owala boot for the bottle, which I also highly recommend) and how fragile the hinge and button of the lid can be. It's very easy to snap the hinge off and for the button spring to become finnicky, although I haven't had any issues with my button (knock on wood). I've seen some Owala bottles, however, in target have sticky buttons, loose buttons, and just-right buttons. It's a gamble ordering it online, but I was lucky enough to get one that was just fine. I love Star Wars and red and black is my color scheme, so the fact I could get a Darth Vader-themed water bottle with a Star Wars engraving was awesome. Oh! It also includes stickers. Overall, I highly recommend this water bottle for anybody looking for the "next new thing" or simply has a water bottle addiction like I used to. Actually, ever since buying Owala bottles, I haven't felt the need to buy any other water bottles, which says a lot. They're THAT good. This bottle offers a lot of functionality, with a lot of different colors and variations available for whatever style you prefer. I love this water bottle and have had no issues with it after using it for almost every single day.

Got this for my daughter to use for school sports. Works great and it doesn't leak. This is a great thing because she throws it in her gym bag and nothing is wet. No seal issues and keeps her drink cold all day. I got her the 24oz one and it holds a good amount without having to lug around a gallon size bottle. The folding carry handle is a plus because it makes it easier to carry or attach it to a carabinier. This is also slim enough to fit in a backpack side pocket.
