From what I have researched, this is a real Deutsch pfennig and I am a proud owner of one. It is similar to Soviet Kopek or US Nickel. Dated 1940, and it comes packaged in two bags which is nice. Also probably should buy one before amazon removes them for “Hate Speech”.

This is a great addition to my collection of world coins. A lot smaller then a though it would be, but still a great coin.

Got 1940 coin, was hoping for 1941 since closer to height of the Holocaust.

Coin is as pictured, maybe a little less shiny.

I got the coin, and was happy to know it made it to my home. Upon further inspection, the coin is very weathered, and you can barely make out the mint year. Mine is a 1941 coin. Gave it a three due to the weathering be a little heavy, but its for a collection so I can say I have it. Not too keen on the exact state of the coin, just a shame its so weathered. Not large enough for a ring, so it doesn't need to be perfect. Came in two bags, which is very nice (I accidentally sliced both bags with a pair of scissors upon opening, so I am gonna find a spare bag to put it in).

Overall, came in a timely manner, I actually have the coin, came in two bags, but the coin itself is heavily weathered. Not exactly perfect, but I am not picky.
