i love my kindle so much now that ive had it a couple months. i accidently got the version with ads ( a lot of the ads are spicy) I was able to get them removed without an issue. battery life is impeccable. i think ive charged it twice over two and half months? perfect dimmable backlight too!

I read alot. I also read a lot of fanfiction. This kindle has become my new friend. It's so easy to add an epub to my kindle and it's so much easier to read it on the kindle vs my phone. I love the options such as dark mode. I can readjust the text size and books download fast. I love this kindle.

Reading digital has always been a struggle before. I decided I wanted to try a Kindle. Went for this model for the size and it's perfect. Super comfortable, lightweight, easy to carry, battery last forever, easy to use and transfer files. Totally worth every penny, can't live without it.

This refurbished Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition is as described. It works as if it was brand-new out of the box. I only gave it 4 stars because I guess I'm used to my phone's touch tech. The Kindle seems to respond not the same and maybe it's just because I'm not completely used to it, but apparently I sometimes touch the screen wrong and one of the menus opens. I got a case so hopefully that will help with me to not inadvertently touch the wrong area of the screen.

The one main issue I had was with Amazon customer service - I ordered the ad-free version. But when I powered it up, it had ads. I contacted Amazon customer service and they told me I would have to pay $20 to remove the ads but then they "generously" offered to remove them without charge. I felt that their response was patronizing and disingenuous. And I explained to them that I had already paid for the ad-free version. They did remove the ads and that process was quick. But I didn't care for the interaction.

Easy to read on the beach or by the pool

I particularly like to read before going to sleep. This is a good size to handle, not so delicate that I worry about dropping it when i fall asleep. I understand the ereader is better for my eyes and the quality of sleep. This is my second one that arrived in record time, I lost the first one in the airport returning from vacation. I had it in hand at my next stop on the way home, two days later. Although the description said I was buying the non ad version, I do seem to have ads, sending a note to customer service. Customer service just resolved the ad issue
