    I've had to pay to fix my machine due to thread nests that bad thread. I've tried several brands and Simthread is the best. It's strong, colors are beautiful and they don't fray. The colors are a perfect match when you purchase the sets of the brands your designs call for. Save money and time, time is important as who wants to stop sewing to rethread or pay to have tangled threads inside the machine which can ruin your project. I highly recommend Simthread

    Sadly that what you receive is a smaller spool because it’s such a beautiful thread. It’s expensive but worth every Penny. I separate my silk threads from my sewing thread and if I am embroiling in my sewing machine and I want a special design to stand out, I would use it with my sewing machine. Otherwise, I use it with my jewelry making or hand stitch. It’s gorgeous.

    I recently purchased a 5,500 yard roll of the Smithread Mulberry (S082) thread. The thread itself is fine and does an adequate job. However, finding the end-point of the thread was a major task. By the time it was located, several feet of thread were destroyed in the effort. This is not the first time I have encounter such an issue with the 5500 yard Smithread spools.

    Although the thread itself is fine, a 5-star review will not be given solely due to the lack of a consistent end-point on these large spools.

    The thread is strong and made of polyester. Slides through sewing projects. Can only use on machine that holds this size.
